Hi guys, please I need help, i was using my laptop earlier and decided to put it to sleep so I can take a nap, but now the screen won't turn on, it's just stuck on black but keyboard lights are on.
 
Try to do EC reset first. Shutdown the laptop and unplug the AC adapter > long press the power button for over 25 seconds > plug in the AC adapter and power it on

Yeah I tried this but for some reason when I re-plug the ac adapter back, it boots on its own so I'm unable to power it on myself. I don't know if connecting to an external monitor will help but that's what I want
 
So the problem still remains after EC reset? Yes, connect an external monitor to know if it is broken from the panel or the GPU.
