Some days ago i have bought the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming Z. It is an absolutely insane graphics card, which runs the Games on a whole new level. In this topic i just want to talk especially about CSGO.
So first of all, i have a 4K Monitor and play CSGO on native res. Its actually pretty good, because you see your enemies much better and faster. CSGO runs on decent 300 fps locked!
So if i put the lock out, it goes up to 450 fps on medium settings and 4K res. Its just insane!! Im just wondering how the hell they will make the 1080 TI. The 1080 costs around 700$ and 900$. The 1080 XP cost 1200$. So i dont think that people will buy a 1080 TI if they get a 1080XP for 1200$ because i think they will range the 1080TI around 1000$. But now lets go back to the games. So as i said, csgo can run up to 450 fps on medium settings, but if you lay down some smokes, some flashes and theres a lot of bullets flying around, it drops down to 200 fps. So rushing b with the msi gtx 1080 gaming z is much more easier
When you want to be pretty good in csgo, you need a decent setup and high fps, so if you play on 4k in my opinion a gtx 1080 is perfect for it! I almost had no troubles with my msi gtx 1080 Gaming Z, there was just a little driver mistake, made by nvidia i think, which dropped down the games to a solid 20 fps?!

The Temps are incredible just because the coolers dont even have to work, because theres no need for. It surprises me that they even stand still on a game like csgo, which isnt that hard to run, but the card has to put some effort in it even if theres the lock on 300 FPS.
