D-LED2 - Where do I stick the temperature detection head?

Hi Guys

Still puting together my i7 system below.  Can somebody please tell me where the best place would be to stick the TEMPERATURE DETECTION HEAD component of the D-LED2 system.  Obviously it will be used to monitor the CPU temp, but where do I put it ? on my thermalright extreme 120 cpu cooler ? If so, whereabouts ...

A drawing / indication would help thanks.  Here is the latest pic:

It doesn't really matter where you put it.  It is more or less a diagnostic device to discover hot spots in your system.  Put it whereever you like to put it.  The Processor has internal digital sensors within each Core.  You can't really beat those readings with that additional thermal sensor (no matter where you put that thing).

I ran mine outside my case for a "rough" ambient temp.
