Hi,

like the title says, I'm having a hard time inputting diagonals on the D-Pad of my GF20 V2. They just don't work unless I strongly hit both directions at once with a single push, which is not the way I would ever play. Besides, quarter circle movements don't register.
Is there a solution to this or is this the way this controller is constructed?

are you asking abt GC20 V2? is it with certain games or every game you play? have you tried different connection mode(wired\wireless), system, or USB port?

Yes, GC20 V2. Sorry for the typo.

I have that problem with every game. My controller is wired only. I tried ports in the front and the back of the PC and it's the same.
I verified various Dpad input with a tester and it's what I expected from my experience with it: whenever I hit a diagonal it either registers the vertical axis or the horizontal one, unless I press both a Down and a Right (for example) very hard and keep my thumb still. In that case it does register the diagonal, but pressing that way is unnatural and requires pressing harder and more precisely than it should.

In short it seems to me that it's a limit of the Dpad itself in this type of controller, not an actual factory defect. It still seems so strange that I wanted to verify here whether this is the case, because I was surprised not to find anyone else pointing this issue on an otherwise excellent controller. It's not a secondary problem as it makes playing fighting games impossible, for example.
I don't have this issue with my other controllers.
