Hi, I'm new here. I am writing on a damaged 3080 Suprim X. Card, which I bought on 23/12/2020. After about a month, the card started to go crazy with temperatures and fan speed, as if the speed controller had dropped. It happened on two bios. However, thanks to the Msi Afterburner program, I set my own fan speed curve and did undervolting where the maximum voltage under load reached 0.875v (factory 1.081v) with a core clock of 1915 MHz. Thanks to this, the temperatures in the games did not shoot up to 75st at 100% fan speed, only (depending on the game) a maximum of 65st / 50% rpm, so it was ok and you could play ... There was a strange noise in the earphones and the image disappeared. Motherboard displays error 97 (eg Console Output Devices Connecting) pointing to GPU. I tried restarting my computer several times but it was not successful. The fans on the card are spinning and nothing else, the picture is not. After inserting another card, the computer started normally and is still running, indicating a faulty GPU.

Unfortunately, in Poland, RMA is only at the store, and there is practically no msi poland service, it does not even reply to e-mails. The store informed me that the invoice amount will be refunded at 100%. You know how many cards cost last year and how much they cost today. Therefore, I am not interested in a refund because I will not buy anything for the money today. So that I have been without a card since the beginning of March and I don't know what to do. Do you have an idea?

I'm afraid that the MSI service in Poland will not have a card for exchange :(
All you can do is try a dead card is of no use to you so even a refund would be a better option than a dead GPU Or take it to a Computer, Mobile phone repair place and see if they can help

I am not interested in a refund because I will not buy anything for it, the cards are now 3 times more expensive :( I just want the service / shop to exchange for a new GPU to be able to play

I guess you could always take the store to small claims court and force them to honor the Warranty replacement

But the store sends the GPU to the service and it decides what to do next. I'm just afraid that they don't have cards to exchange in Poland. I'd rather not go to court
