DDR PC-3000 Support for KT3 ULTRA-ARU

Anybody know if the KT3 ULTRA-ARU mobo supports DDR PC-3000 Ram, specifically MUSHKIN DDR 512MB PC-3000?

Assaf12000: PC3000 will work but only as PC2700 unless you overclock the FSB
Assaf12000: There is almost no use for running the memory at a higher speed than the CPU anyway
Assaf12000: The best preformance will come from running the RAM at 266MHz with all the timings set to the fastest
Assaf12000: If you set the RAM to HKLC+33 and the FSB to 150MHz it will work as PC3200 but it won't be much faster than if you set the RAM to HCLK and the FSB to 150MHz.

[chett]:so, if i get the pc-3000, do i have to change any setting in the bios, or will it automatically be set fro pc-2700

Assaf12000: You need to set the RAM to HCLK+33 (assuming you use a CPU with 133MHz FSB)
Assaf12000: You should be able to set it to CAS2 at PC2700 speed, maybe mess a bit with the other RAM timings.
