Man am I glad I read this. I just nearly pushed the button on a new RTX 4070 ti upgrade for my 3070 because I wanted the Diablo 4 code for my wife. After seeing all the ridiculous hoops you must jump through and the wait, I changed my mind and I'll wait for the 5000 series. She'll just get a code from Blizzard.

Contact the AU team they are normally quite quick
If you submit a ticket it should be sorted in less than 2 working days

Go to GeForce Experience (update to the latest version if you haven't), and click on your Account to open a drop-down menu. Select "Redeem". There'll be a textbox for you to enter your code. Hit "Redeem" after entering the code. The rest should be straightforward.

Try contacting both Amazon and Nvidia live chat about it. See whether Amazon can explain how to use the 13 letter code (or provide one that would work with GeForce Experience) and if Nvidia can pass you a code that would actually work if Amazon fails to help. Nvidia may ask for transcripts from your dealings with Amazon first before helping to see that you tried your best in getting it from the retailer first.
