Model: MSI Modern 15 H AI C2HMG
Current BIOS Version: E15H5IMS.306
Issue Description:
The USB-C port on my laptop is supposed to support DisplayPort Alt Mode. However, when I connect an external monitor directly to the computer's USB-C port, the monitor receives power (it turns on) but immediately shows a "no signal" message and is not detected by Windows.
The strange thing is that if I connect a Type-C Hub to the exact same port and connect the monitor to the Hub using a standard HDMI cable, the video output works perfectly. This confirms that the PC's port is physically capable of transmitting a video signal.
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:
Verified Cables and Monitors: I am absolutely certain that the direct Type-C cables and the monitors I am using are working perfectly. I have tested them on another notebook equipped with a Type-C (DisplayPort) port, and they work there without any issues.
Firmware: I have successfully updated the BIOS and EC firmware to the latest version (E15H5IMS.306) following the official MSI guide, but the issue persists.
Drivers: I have updated my graphics drivers to the latest available versions.
Could you please provide further assistance? Is this a known issue, or is a specific driver/firmware patch required to make the direct Type-C to DisplayPort connection work?

The port works, maybe you should try another cable to verify.
