hi everyone I am a new member of MSI however I am really disappointed.
I want to share my unboxing experience with my first MSI laptop GE66. I have bought my laptop 12 days ago from Scan Computer. After I delivered my laptop I was very excited and unboxing my new laptop GE66 10SGS which I've paid £3170. However, when I connect my laptop to the external speakers the hitches have been started. There was a crackling sound coming from the speakers it was a terrible moment for me cause all of my excitement was gone then I found another headset to try the headset jack. Meanwhile, my external speakers are working well with Mac Pro without any problem. I do not want to send my laptop back then I bought wireless speakers cause there was not a problem with the headset and I thought about maybe the problem is coming from my external speakers.

But today I figured it out one of the rubber feet of the laptop is missing. it is really sad. It makes me get cold to the laptop and the brand. I really do not know but I think I will send it back and want my refund.
what are your experiences are these normal for every brand or not?

do you have any suggestions?

Wow I had the same problem over a year ago with crackling and sound volume changing on my MSI gaming laptop. Sounds like internal speakers are not high priority on MSI's list of important components for their product. As with you Bluetooth speakers bypassed this problem. They should just make them without internal speakers and drop the price. I hope they give you some feedback/advise.

I didn't get a crackling sound and it was mostly the internal speakers that seemed amazingly poor for the hype here. You may want to try exchanging it although the kind of attention to detail of having all the feet is part of what I thought I was getting with MSI.

Although software was installed the very day I bought it the wireless adapter driver was out of date and looked to have some conflict as every 4 minutes or less it went offline thus this is the longest I have been connected in the over two days it took to fix that.

I don't know your issue could be from the 1 to 2 percent of all assembled things of any complexity having an issue and so exchanging it would work but at the same time struggling with my own sense of what if paying more was just paying more issues I can't say I don't feel tempted during the no questions asked period to just say no the sum total of everything still to tackle is too much for what I paid.

Good luck. It's not easy whichever route you go I feel like billing them for having to remove a record number of Microsoft offices. I didn't count them until I just had 12 left.
