Hey guys! I just put together my sys:
A64 3200+
MSI K8T NEO
256MB Geil DDR400 (confirmed working)
Radeon 9600XT (confirmed working)
WD 80GB HDD (confirmed working)
Cheap stock PS w/ 12A on the 12v line (confirmed working)
OK, I put it all together and, after tweaking some BIOS options, tried to boot to my HDD. As soon as I did, I got a "Disk read error". "No big deal" I thought. I had noticed the IDE cable I had installed had a notch in one side. I assumed that was the problem. Switched it out, but no. Still the same error. Clear SMOS didnt do anything for me, either...
Help!
