Hi everyone!
I'm considering buying a new monitor, and I've got my eye on the MSI G2412F model. (https://www.msi.com/Monitor/G2412F)

I have an Nvidia graphics card, and I'm unsure if G-Sync would work through the DP port. (The website mentions Adaptive-Sync technology.)
If anyone has this type of monitor and uses an Nvidia card, could you please tell me if G-Sync works with this monitor using a DP cable?

Please confirm this Nvidia graphics card is support G-Sync or not.

It is monitor list that support G-Sync technology and it is must under DP port.

It's not in this list.
But I know that there are many monitors which are not on this list, meanwhile you can turn on G-Sync with a DP cable and it works normally.
And that's why I asked here on the forum, so anyone who has this type of monitor might have tried whether G-Sync works on the monitor despite not being on the list.

Yes, it can be used even not on this list but cannot 100% guarantee G-Sync function on G2412F monitor.

Okay, thank you!
I have one last question. This monitor is equipped with DP ver 1.2, while my video card has DP ver 1.4.
In this case, which version of the cable should I buy?

DP ver 1.2 at least.
Because it is just DP ver 1.2 on the monitor so it is just DP ver 1.2 when connecting DP ver 1.4 cable between both.
