Hi all,

does MSI MEG X570 UNIFY work with F4-4000C18Q-128GVK memory (4 x 32GB)?

The compatibility page does show F4-4000C18Q, but not -128GVK. Also the F4 lines only have 1/2 DIMM Support flag, but not 4 DIMM.

If the MSI site states only 1/2 dimms and not 4 and they do not show 128gb then I would suspect that it does not support it at that speed of 4000 mhz. I would try 4 sticks of ram at 3200mhz and get that stable. Next I would try to work your way up the freq until it does not work.

I was in the same boat as you but with 32gb 4400 mhz ram, could not run 4 x 8gbs stable at 4400 mhz and MSI only showed in the table 1/2 dimms so I ran it at 4000mhz.

Good luck and report back on what you did.

The better question is will your CPU memory controller support that speed. While the Motherboard may support that speed Ods are not in your favour for your CPU supporting it, as the bigger the Module the less chance of it running at that speed. You have a way better chance of having 4 x 8GB 4000MHZ kit working than what your asking about.

I have a Ryzen 3900XT and I would be satisfied with running them at 3600 MHz. The goal is to have 128G at 3600 MHz at minimum.
Apparently it is hit or miss according to some my RAM should not be working at 3200MHZ as I am using all 4 slots. Won't hurt to try and you may have got lucky with a good CPU.

That is way above the rated specs for AMD chips. I would not bet on it working but it's not impossible.

Check his CPU-Z link he managed to OC his 3600MHz mem to 3800MHz, Man talk about a lucky dip win in the silicon lottery But they are only the 8GB dims so is easier to do but still impressive.
