DP-ALT Mode for USB-c on Sword 15

Hi all.
We own a Sword 15 with Nvidia 3060 GPU.
Just this week we've acquired a second AOC curved screen gaming monitor and have tried to connect it via USB-c.
I bought an adapter + cable to convert USB-c to DisplayPort but the monitor displays "No signal".
Come to find out that the reason behind this is because our computer USB-c port is NOT DP-ALT enabled, so cannot transfer video signal via USB-c.
Therefore windows 10 fails to sense the second monitor.
Does anyone know if there is any other way to connect a second monitor? There is only a single HDMI port available.
Alternatively... is there any possibility that the mother board can be upgraded to add in DP-ALT mode to the USB-c port, either via software (driver upgrade) or other means.

Suitable for casual gaming - the throughput of USB is less than half of DP afaik. And DisplayLink does eat some speed on encoding and decoding the stream.

Cheers mate...

I've taken a look at their products and it seems their high speed gaming solutions all make use of USB-c which, as we have already found, is not suitable for us as the laptop is not equipped with the necessary DP-ALT hardware on the USB-c port.

I've sent them a tech help request to see if they have any other solution available.
if/when i get a response I will post it in here.

You are right about the speed.
USB-c provides the data speed necessary for DP to work to its full extent.
But its an optional extension to the USB-c standard to enable video data format to be transferred as opposed to just standard USB data.
And this is the crux of our problem in that the MSI Sword 15 laptop does not have the hardware required to extend the functionality of the USB-c port.

Did you look into buying a USB-C docking station possibly to see if you can get your dual-monitor setup working by chance?
