exactly what the title said ...my i have the gf65 10ue with rtx 3060 and it have heating issues while the cpu temperature reach 95c and gpu 87c ...the only option i have is to stop turbo boost for the cpu and undervolt the gpu to a falt line of like 1300mhz after that the cpu temperature reach 72 and gpu reach 83...i read old post on reddit where people said that silent mod in dragon center allow them to game AAA games at mid 60s or 70s for cpu and gpu but when i turn the silent mod on the only thing that happen is the fan run at very low spped while gpu reach 87c and cpu reach 95...so how do i fix the silent mod i have the dragon center latest version 2.0.146.0

No, it is not recommended to set in silent mode while gaming...

According to the model name, I guess it might be an old laptop and you should consider if the thermal has been consumed.
You can run TimeSpy benchmark, download 3Dmark demo on Steam and compare the test result with notebook check.

i change thermal paste and cleaned the whole laptop 2months ago (not me personally , i went to place that did it for me)

edit: but i read on reddit that people used that mode to decrease the temperature without losing much performance...also what is the point of using such mode if not gaming , pc wouldnt heat up while idle or while browsing ...wouldnt it be idiotic of them to put a mode the slow down fans without underclocking cpu and gpu

Silent Mode is NOT for gaming, it's for browsing, light work, watching videos, so that the laptop is more silent, hence the name.
The CPU and GPU is underclocked, but even on Battery if you play games, it will heat up also.

You must understand, that what is said and done in Reddit, must be taken with a grain of salt, but I can assure you, your laptop,
will heat up and any other brand also, I have several laptops and they ALL heat up in Silent Mode, even my G14s.

Some will disable their TURBO to play in this mode, when wanting to play late at night or in an area with people,
but that is their decision, with their laptop, if they have issues, then that's their responsibility!

The only thing idiotic and irresponsible, is trying to play games without proper ventilation.

EDIT: The only laptop I can get away longer gaming in Silent Mode, is My Stealth 14, but once the vapor chamber becomes saturated,
it will become hot, just like the others. More recent software might perform better than older software, same goes with hardware.

i dont mind a little heat just not this high...again whats the point of making a silent mode for lightwork? if the laptop is so bad that it cant handle google and need silent mode to make the fans quieter...who would buy such a laptop?... even cheap phones would out perform such laptop....what i care for now is to have decent temperature while gaming...the laptop is only two years old and i play games released from 2016 and 2017 which arent as demanding as newer games...i dont believe that we should buy a laptop every year or two it should last atleast four years

Let me explain the law of physics to you, when you buy a GF65 10UE THIN, that means that you need more ventilation to dissipate the heat from the THIN laptop.
If you wanted a laptop that could stay as cool as possible, you should have bought a thicker laptop like a GE or GP, so that less ventilation would be required.

Maybe you should read the thread below, it might help reduce the heat from your laptop by other means.

EDIT: I just wanted to add, that all my laptops, when I am gaming I always use COOLER BOOST, because I want them to last a long time!

the fact that i bought a budget gaming laptop should already tell you alot, instead of belittling me , i dont live in fanacy country were you get to buy a 4070 laptop with i5 13th gen with a two weeks worth of your salary ...in my country this laptop basically took fcken 6 months to save up for...i know the thin laptop heat up but not all budget gaming laptop are this awful , also the person who said they use silent mode (on reddit) on their laptop had the same model, and before you say it i did ask them but the comment was made to 2 years ago , it's unlikely that they would reply...anyway thanks bro

Well I did pasted a thread for you to read, to help you.
Every laptop I purchased, I never paid cash and they all took me 6 to 12 months to pay them off.
My GL62M that I purchased 7 years ago still runs nice and cool and I paid it $1050.00 CAD ($767.00 USD) back then, but it ain't thin.

yeah, thanks for the thread ...it doesnt fix the issue but you were trying to help. helping is one thing but taking people for fools is another. i didnt make a bad choice buying this laptop, it was the only choice available. To put it clear for you this laptop cost 20,000 of the currency when i bought it , the average salary in the country back then was 3000 per month of the same currency. i didnt buy thin laptop because i was an idiot who doesnt understand how thin laptop works , it's because the next best option would be for 50,000 which is almost twice the price ...i wouldnt debate this futher you were trying to help and i appreciate it but the ''let me explain basic physics'' and the ''why you are an idiot who doesnt understand what a thin laptop is'' implication in your part was kind uncalled for.

Well sorry if I offended you, it's just so many come here to complain that there GF THIN laptops run hot,
but it can't do anything else than that because of the hardware in such a thin chassis.

My P65 9SE that I received under warranty to replace my P65 8RF, simply runs very hot also, the only way I can keep it under control,
is from doing things in that thread, PL1/PL2 was at start 65/160, changed that to 35/45 (when just work/videos/browsing 25/30),
undervolted -100MV cache and core, cut the Mhz to 4000 when gaming (Disable Turbo and dGPU when just work/videos/browsing),
yet with all that, it still runs hotter than my GS65 9SD that has the same i7 9750H and a GTX 1660Ti instead of the RTX 2060 Max-Q in the P65,
the chassis are also very similar, besides the color.

So I can enjoy my GS65 much more after doing things in that thread, but the P65, I have abandoned doing anything else than light gaming,
work, videos, browsing and video encoding/editing.

np, you are a good person actually. the hardware definitely is a big problem but when it comes to the overheating issue most companies make their software tweakable to your preference like asus and lenovo ,their program have many profile some that decrease the heat at the cost of few fps , some utilize the pc to its maximum performance ...and this was the case with msi as well before the release of msi center which for some reason they say it only works for 11th gen and above cpu...honestly the two apps have problems and users have been complaining for year, although i dont know if the issue is because of devs are being lazy or multibillion dollar companies being greedy af...both ways , i dont think as a customers we should just take it. and i really do believe that my issue is fixable maybe someone here know if a certain bios setting can be tweaked or if acertain old dc version can be installed...as for the throttlestop stop settings i tried it at best i can get temperature of cpu to be around 87 ish and sometimes hitting 90 , i can just take the L for the cpu and turn off turbo boost (probably wouldnt be able to play fps games online but oh well) but the gpu temperature, i just cant find a curve that works it best it runs at 83 which as awful...msi really should get their sh*t together and fix their software....yeah, it's a budget laptop but it doesnt have to be the worst budget laptop.

Well I think it's more a mindset thing than anything else, thin laptops are popular, so they built a thin laptop with good specs, to obtain their sales numbers.
Low 90s is actually good temps for a CPU in a Laptop, my Stealth 14 will achieve sub 90oC temps (85-88oC), but all my other laptops will be in the low 90oC, normal.

Both my G-14s hit 90-95oC and even 96oC with fans maxed out, I even installed G-Helper instead of Armoury Crate to keep them under 95oC, so even Asus has the same issue,
let's not forget, those G-14s have vapor chambers, same as my S14, but my S14 stays cooler.
My Lenovo T470P CPU temps when gaming 96-98oC, hot as hell (Prior to tweeking 98-99oC, I know pathetic) with an i5 7440HQ.

My second coolest one, is my GE66, 88-91oC, followed by my GP66 89-92oC (I think it might need repasting already, last year was 88-90oC),
but the other MSI will be mostly between 90-93oC, except the P65 94-96oC, not forgetting my i9 13950HX with a 95-96oC after tweeking,
(Prior to tweeking 99-101oC i9s run crazy hot), gaming temps of course.

EDIT: Of course all the temps are after tweeking with BIOS and TS (Except can't use TS on AMD CPUs, not much BIOS tweeks for Asus & Lenovo).
