Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

You're the engineer!

Kidding aside, is this also happening to the z890 version of the Godlike?

I was planning to buy this, then I saw this on a random Google search.

You guys saved my hide.

Hello everyone,

I solved the problem of the dashboard custom settings not launching at startup.
You need to disable Windows fast startup.
Since I did that, updated my screen, and installed msi center 2.0.48.0, everything is ok.

everything works great today
Good one, Man! I wouldnt have thought to try that. That will surely help somebody else so thank you for reporting that!
I use man a whole lot and still no issues except for that 30 seconds on the 29th.

As far as I am aware the z890 version does not have the same issue as the X870e version.

For the GIF not displaying until Windows has loaded in, do you allow MSI Center to auto-start with Windows?
OK, I just tested it. The GIF starts on the Dashboard screen as soon as I start typing my password into the Windows 11 login; I'm on 23H2. There is a splash screen of sorts before I can start typing the password, that just shows the background image. I have to press enter (or any other key) to get to the password box and start typing. That's when the GIF populates on the Dashboard.

No, I do not have MSI Center auto-starting. I noticed that it's not in the taskbar, but I double–check the startup application settings to be certain.

Here is my screen stopped working.
MSI Update Tool was able to update the firmware to 24102902, but could not update the date at all. It does not update the firmware to version 25011600. The device constantly crashes, the firmware cannot be completed, the message "Waiting for device connection..." appears during the process and the process ends with an error.
In the MSI center, the application for this screen periodically disappears and goes to the update page. All updates are installed, the BIOS is updated to version A22
How can you release such an expensive board with such a problem???

BIOS A24 reset all of my BIOS settings, so be aware of that and make sure you check it after the update; especially if you are using Power on after AC loss or the M2_2 x4 slot.
Yea, with my Easy Bridge at MSI I'm not updating until I get it back. Putting the front panel connections AND the MB power button on the bridge was a terrible design decision

Somebody thought it's a great idea, and someone else approved the design to go production lol
I always wonder whether people behind certain ideas ever look at things from a customer perspective.

Does your dashboard now work as it should or has it been fixed by the new BIOS or are there still a few things that aren't working properly?
Mine was working properly from the Jan. 8th Dashboard firmware update tool release after I used it on about Jan. 13th, and then the Jan. 16th dashboard firmware update tool on the same day of its release, before I updated the BIOS; so I can't give you a useful answer.

After the BIOS update I noticed that I was still on MSI Center 27.0 and I saw 28.0 on the site, so I went through with the MSI Center Cleaner to uninstall it so that I could install the new one. My dashboard did start having the constant loading after that, and quite frankly I don't know if it was from uninstalling MSI Center (most likely) or updating the BIOS, because I wasn't paying attention after the BIOS update before uninstalling MSI Center.

In any case, after the MSI Center was cleaned and the system restarted, I decided to do the Dashboard Update tool again. Firmware first, and then Data. That fixed the constant loading issue and the default system stats screen showed up again. Of course, the tool makes me restart, so I did.

After that I downloaded the new 28.0 MSI Center and installed it. Another restart. I only installed the Dashboard MSI Center tool. For some reason my MSI colors, the dragon and such, are still red like I had set it before, so I didn't bother reinstalling Mystic Lights.

Once reinstalling the new MSI Center, the numbers at the top of the screen were all messed up. It kept jumping to random numbers and sometimes letter/number codes. My GIF was working though. So I decided to restart again and that fixed it.

I also decided to shut down the PC entirely and see how it loads up the GIF. Once again, I do not have MSI Center to auto-start. It seems to be the default?

The Dashboard started with the default system stats. I didn't touch anything at the Windows 11 login splash screen, so it wasn't showing the text box to put in my password. I gave it a few seconds and it finally switched to the GIF I set it to.

So now everything is back to the way I had it before these updates, but it's got new BIOS and new MSI Center, so that's good I guess.

Except that it doesn’t work but ok…
there is never a fix that works for everybody, but go off.

I understand and empathize with those in Dashboard Purgatory, but, I will come to my own conclusions. It's like some of y'all are so mad at MSI that you come on this thread and expect everyone to be hoppin' mad at MSI and if we aren't mad y'all seethe about it.

I just want to know if it has been fixed for some people who have the board with the new BIOS or the tool. I want to buy the board and had ordered it, but then cancelled it because of that ^^
