Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.
I just want to know if it has been fixed for some people who have the board with the new BIOS or the tool. I want to buy the board and had ordered it, but then cancelled it because of that ^^
Yeah I am in the same boat. I can handle the display being problematic as long as it'll boot and eventually be fixed. But I don't want to go through the hassle of installing and RMA'ing a board (esp cuz I do hard-tube watercooling) and have to disassemble everything multiple times.

I am also wondering: how many boards have they likely sold by now since it's release in Oct or November I Think? And then for only 26 pages on their forum and 1 reddit post. Seems comparingly low. But then again, this is a premium board that has much less reach and buyers.
So it's hard to say what the indication is. Is this issue widespread? How likely is it you will get it if you buy it today? Are all boards affected? Specific regions?
At least on the German MSI forums there seems to be no mention of this issue

Create an official ticket on the technical support website so that MSI has official requests.
My request was immediately followed by an offer to send the board back for repair or replacement.

Just updated to the latest BIOS, but now my dashboard is blank (power switch still works) and my system won’t POST.
Since I can’t see the dashboard I have no idea where it’s failing.
Powered the whole system down and unplugged. Will leave over night and see if anything happens.

except so far repairs and replacements continue to have this issue and there have been no official statements to confirm that a repair/replace will actually resolve this problem permenantly

I mean, Ive used mine since novemeber, encountered the issue once right after Christmas, used the tool and it was gone in minutes, and hasnt returned.
I have been doing the recommended mitigations: not populating any of the proprietary EZ connectors or the fan hub and using gifs instead of the measurements.

Well I'm here. First post.
My board looks is original November build I got from end of December from Newegg. Finally built and I kept an eye on this issue. I jumped from factory bios to 7E48v1A22 yesterday. Just saw 7E48v1A24 released today and have yet to install. Followed MSI's guide of updating Dynamic Dashboard to most current released on 01/16/2025. This process worked extremely quickly, Firmware first then Data. Before after the display was working fine though I did not have my system on for barely a day.

Today the issue appeared. What I've noticed though my RGB turned off after I left my system idle for few minutes. My display went off and system was sleeping. Woke up, Loading screen on the display. I opened MSI Center and first "turned off" RGB even though there were no lights except from my ram, the turned "back on" and that recovered. I then worked on the LCD by switching modes by going to Gif and Music Player - these worked. When I set back to default show Temps etc, it had seemly corrected itself and defaulted back. I had set it to show CPU temp, Fan, Voltage on the same display rather than cycling. Instead it went back to cycling. I readjusted back to how I liked it and seems like its working again. I'm aware some have said the issue comes back after a few days. My plan is to leave the dashboard as is so I don't end up bricking the display like some have. I'll try the new BIOS, 7E48v1A24 even though no mention of dashboard update. Otherwise I will try going back to Bios version A15 which one youtuber has seemly said has been stable. In meantime I set Windows 11 never for PC to sleep nor monitor. Also I disabled MSI Center auto start into windows so whatever setting I had before should've carried over which it originally did until I stepped away allowing the system to idle. $1100 MSI.... this shouldn't be an issue.

TO MSI: THIS IS NOT FIXED.

So, that is hardly a fix. Don't use the functionality or connections and nerf the display and hope for the best means there is no fix yet.

Perhaps you have a spare board or another computer, because good luck waiting 4 weeks to get it back and still having the issue. RMAs have not resolved the problem, according to the information in this thread.

I'd sooner file a small claims case before using their RMA. Why would I want another board from a company that failed several times to resolve this? Even more if you count previous Dashboard generations that have had critical failures.

I can only assume that you haven't read through the history of this thread. If the issue affects you enough for you to RMA and make posts here, you should probably read through the thread to get up to speed.

Stripped the entire machine, and I can now get it to post, seems to have been some issue with BitLocker but I'm not 100% certain.

Now I've got it to boot, it seems that BIOS 7E48v1A24 has caused my dashboard appears to be blank until MSI center initializes in Windows. This means that if I shut down rather than reboot I can't see any of the POST status codes which is really unhelpful.
Once I've got part of my loop back up and running so I can cool my PC, I'll flash the Data again to see if that resolves it.

i did install 7E48v1A24 but i get problem system not bot at all because my NZXT Internal USB Hub plugin
after i disable it from motherboard system bot again fine
and i install back 7E48v1A21 all work fine with NZXT Internal USB Hub

It's a rough situation. It's a great board aside from this issue, so it's difficult to rule it out entirely. Debug codes are the main reason I'm seeing people complaining about this feature not working; aside from the fact that power management flows through this. You can certainly make the PC work properly without the Bridge, but since updating the BIOS resets all settings, and Power on after AC loss is an important part of using the PC without the bridge, it becomes really risky to gamble on this board.

The consensus is that you shouldn't have to do such wonky things to make a $1,100 board work properly.

I've recently come to the conclusion that MSI isn't communicating about this issue because they will be admitting fault legally, and that would put them in a poor position if the situation ever becomes a class action lawsuit. In this regard it makes sense for them to remain silent.

Yes, I have a second computer so the wait won't be painful.
I haven't read the entire thread, but I tried the fixes and updates that were described. They didn't help.
Most likely, I'll turn off the displays with the switch on the motherboard, and turn them on only when debug information is needed. Honestly, in the hope that this will somehow save the screen.

Just registered to share my experience. The dynamic dashboard worked out of the box. I never changed it beyond the defaults. I updated the BIOS to 22 prior to setting up the system. After a few days it started showing the Loading screen. I didn't think much of it, as I don't use the dashboard. After another day or two the screen would light up and not show anything.

The recommendation to power down and disconnect for a few hours did not work. The screen remains in a blank state, and the USB device disconnects/reconnects constantly in Windows. Unable to apply the data/firmware update as a result.

Probably nothing to be done to fix it at that point. Go into the bios and change your power settings. Switch the behavior after Loss of power to have it restart rather than power off, and you may want to switch the setting to allow network traffic power it up, and to allow USB devices to restart.

Then remove the bridge and send it to MSI.

Alternately, if you still can, return the board and get a refund.

The board itself has been rock solid for me, but with the bridge not working and its USB reconnecting issue, plus both the front panel connector AND power button being on it...
