Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.
Probably nothing to be done to fix it at that point. Go into the bios and change your power settings. Switch the behavior after Loss of power to have it restart rather than power off, and you may want to switch the setting to allow network traffic power it up, and to allow USB devices to restart.

Then remove the bridge and send it to MSI.

Alternately, if you still can, return the board and get a refund.

The board itself has been rock solid for me, but with the bridge not working and its USB reconnecting issue, plus both the front panel connector AND power button being on it...
Yeah I'm not overly concerned about the display as I do not use it. Are you aware of any issues with the stuff connected to the display itself? Like the EZ Control hub that has all the fan headers? Does PWM still work even if the display is toast?

A few people have reported other problems and at least one report of the bridge overheating or smoking, but I haven't seen that verified.

It will just keep disconnecting / reconnection the USB constantly, and that (at least for me) caused stutters and was annoying.

You can turn the screen off using the JDASH-SW1, and may? be able to use the rest of the functionality, but mine is at MSI so I have not tested that. Keep in mind that without the screen you cannot see any POST error codes at all.

So disappointing for such a high spec board otherwise.

can anyone with the board confirm this?
(the JDASH_SW1 is a switch on the board that toggles between enabling the display and the tuning controller mode, and is located on the bottom right of the board according to the manual)

also: my godlike just arrived today in the mail. Is there anyway I can "force" the issue to pop up right away? From what I gather the problem never occurs out of the box but only after many days/weeks of use, right?
I would like to leave it on my testbench before I install it with my watercooling setup, but I guess there is no way of telling then

I tried this and this only disables the dragon LED logo thing. It does not disable the dynamic dashboard, which remains powered and blank. The dashboard USB device is also still connecting/disconnecting.

Usually after a week from what I've seen happen to me and read from others.
i did install 7E48v1A24 but i get problem system not bot at all because my NZXT Internal USB Hub plugin
after i disable it from motherboard system bot again fine
and i install back 7E48v1A21 all work fine with NZXT Internal USB Hub

Was the USB Hub plugged into the motherboard itself or the EZ-Bridge?
Just updated to the latest BIOS, but now my dashboard is blank (power switch still works) and my system won’t POST.
Since I can’t see the dashboard I have no idea where it’s failing.
Powered the whole system down and unplugged. Will leave over night and see if anything happens.

I just updated to the latest (MS-7E48) V1.A24 / 7E48v1A24 BIOS, Thankfully I did not get an issue of my dashboard being blank. Were you having issues before?
I hope being powered down overnight helps, that's very unfortunate.

JUSB1 in the bottom right should be appropriate according to the manual I believe?
I think both rows of 4/5 pins can be used to connect a USB device. It should be a 9 pin connector which should be able to be used as two independent USB ports. Usually they'd go to a Case header with 2 ports with a single connector.
Just make extra sure the pin alignment matches from the motherboard to the device to avoid possible damage/issues.

Had to send back one board and the replacement had the loading screen issue and eventual black screen with disconnect/reconnect noises in Windows after two days. Luckily the steps of totally powering down the system, disconnecting the EZ Bridge for an hour (only leaving the front panel wires connected), and the Dynamic Dashboard came back to allow me to update the firmware. I updated the firmware with the latest version on 1/16 and only had a small hiccup where the screen rebooted while I was watching YouTube. I heard a disconnect/reconnect noise then the screen came back online with the default system stats that show when the PC is booting.

The stat settings don't automatically start with Windows so I have been using one of the animated GIF's (spinning triangles) which loads automatically. The two temps I really care about show default on the top of the screen, so the GIF is actually a viable option until they get the stats properly loading on startup.

I am using the EZ Control Hub for my system fan headers and fan RGB and I have the AIO pump and RGB controller USB plugged directly into the EZ Bridge.

I know you guys emailed Steve (Gamers Nexus) and Steve (Hardware Unboxed)

You might also want to get Northwest Repair and Louis Rossmann, on board (no pun intended)?

you want to email them go for it. given the low volume and the general negative thoughts that have been given for products such as this I have very little to no faith that this is something that is going to be covered by any of the outlets that might make a stink. I also have no faith MSI even cares who is talking about this given how long this has been going on and how it has been radio silence.

I looked all over not one post that I could find about z890 godlike dashboard problems.
The AMD Experience...You are the Tech Support and Engineer!

Kidding aside...you guys saved me the pain and suffering, of having to import this $1100 polished turd (plus Customs and many other fees and taxes) to New Zealand.

I too am having issues with the dynamic dashboard III.... unfortunately it looks like my problem is slightly different to everyone elses'. Has has anyone seen this symbol before/knows what it's implying? System work ok, just the LCD shows nothing but this error. I can disconnect the LCD with the computer on, and run the firmware/data update, I get a loading animation and then this error returns!

I can confirm the smoking here as well. I've already sent it in for RMA but when I powered on with it plugged in it would smoke.
