Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.

This is /not/ a complete solution, unfortunately. Consider this a "bookmark" so you don't need to go through ~80 pages of comments.
We're pushing our contacts to get this moving forward too, but our abilities are limited.
I have had my godlike since Saturday 7, and for the moment no problem to report, except that my personalized parameters do not load all the time when starting windows.

apart from this which will be corrected in a future update I hope, everything works very well, this motherboard is really perfect

Hopefully it stays like that, I also didn't have any issues untill the day before yesterday. I will contact the web shop to discuss an RMA.

I'm sorry for you.
How long have you had it?
I received it on the 29th of November, so it lasted a little less than 14 days.

I will discuss with MSI support directly and see if they expect the problem to be fixed with an update or if RMA is the only option.
I just ordered a Carbon WiFi motherboard to replace the Godlike for when I send it back for RMA.

Last night I contacted MSI support to tell them about my problem. To make a long story short, it looks like it is solved now.

What I did was to follow the instructions given earlier in this thread posted by doxuanminh19912c902b0 with a slight variation at step 11:
1. shut down my PC
2. disconnect the power cable
3. disconnect and remove the bridge completely
4. wait for one hour
5. re-install the bridge
6. re-connect the front I/O breakout cable
7. boot into Windows
8. at this point you should at least see the display come on and show the 'loading' screen preferably with some random numbers moving around the screen.
9. start the MSI update tool
10. when the tool is started you should be able to see the current FW version and the current data version, if you only see the current FW version you better re-do step 1-9, in that case any attempt to update the data will fail
11. update the data first (not the firmware)
12. after updating the data was finished successfully my display turned off for a slight moment and than rebooted showing the MEG logo. After the reboot was finished the system information eg. fan speed and core voltage showed again.

At previous attempts I always tried to update the firmware first, but I found out that after the firmware update somehow the update tool was reloading and after the reload the data version was not showing anymore, causing the data update after the firmware update to fail consistently. So the solution was to update the data first.
It is important to mention that MSI support told me that they didn't release any firmware or data updates until now, so it is normal that de update tool shows the same current version of the firmware and data as the one going to be installed. They told me to update Firmware and data anyway.

Hopefully this helps, please let me know if it helped you to solve the problem...

I am in the same vote I built my computer Nov 27 and noticed the display having issues which once I just MSI Center to reuploaded my settings but this morning my display was off and just backlight on with disconnecting and connecting sound from windows and I just found this forum and waiting for my ez bridge 1hr without power which I assume they have a battery or something on it and that's why we have to wait so long.
I do hope this is a fix and not something that will repeat every couple of weeks, but I'll update if this fix works for me and thank you for the info!

Update: Mine is currently working as it should Thank you for the help

I'm currently waiting on my replacement board so I'm not going to try this but I'd be interested to know if this is a long term fix or just temporary. Please report back in a week or so.

I am on my second board and am now having this exact same issue. the first board didn't just have the display start flickering and going strange or just getting the loading screen. it eventually started disconnecting and reconnecting to the point you couldn't use the computer. its so far taken about 4 to 5 days and then this happens and its 2 brand new boards in a row. one from Newegg and one from MSI directly. this is NOT acceptable

update: I have at least done the firmware update listed in one of the earliest posts of this thread and it has stopped the flickering. I'm going to continue to monitor the situation and if it starts to have the issue I will try again following the newest suggestions but damn. I don't get how they didn't catch this in testing because this feels like something that eventually EVERY owner of this board is going to start to run into.

Personally still no problem on my side. There is a new bios for the godlike if you have not seen the information

Going to chime in that I am also now experiencing this issue. Followed the available instructions given throughout the thread with my only recourse to having to launch the computer and disconnect the EZ bridge soon after. Rather disappointed given the quality of this board.

I'm also having the issue since yesterday; no display and constant disconnecting/reconnecting sound while in windows. I tried disconnecting the dashboard and waited about 30 minutes, but it did not allow me to then later do the update; I'll have to retry it today and wait a little longer as mentioned earlier. For this kind of money I would really expect a better quality of product.

Noticed the display showing a constant "Loading" graphic earlier and thought it tied to the computer going to sleep; the graphic never went away. Restarted and connected another USB device and then the display went dark (there was still a backlight, but no graphics). When things came to, the other USB device seemed operational and no errors in Device Manager, but again, no display. Then I started hearing the beeps of devices being disconnected and connected, occurring every 30 seconds or so. A little bit of searching and came to this thread.

I then proceeded to try and use the aforementioned firmware update. The tool showed a firmware version matching the one in the update, but no data loaded. Moved on to updating things...

The firmware update succeeded, but the data load could not complete before the device was detected as lost and then found again a second later.

Now, just waiting for the hour recommended (should technically need to be that long, but will humor the recommendation) and then will proceed with the recommended follow-on procedures. Hopefully MSI will catch wind of this problem and work out a formal solution soon.

I tried the longer wait as well and I'm also not seeing the data in the update tool; the version of the firmware is also the same as was already installed.
I also tried updating my bios in the hopes that might clear things up, but no luck there. And updating the data is impossible since the update takes ~40 seconds and the device stays connected for only 20s fairly exactly.

To not go insane from update notifications I disabled the connect and disconnect sounds in windows for now.

FYI to those who might be interested: My board has been in RMA for this issue since 12/3. RMA shows waiting for parts to arrive expected 12/23. MSI was supposed to do a cross-shipment but they sure are taking their sweet time as it’s been a full 2 weeks now since they have had the board in hand. Their excuse is low stock of the board. I should have just returned the board to Newegg for replacement since it looks like they’ve had stock refreshed several times already in the last 2 weeks.

I was first in line for this $1200 board, and all I got is the better part of a month downtime. At this point I’d be surprised if they shipped out a replacement before January. Not very happy with MSI rn.

Seems like MSI isn't planning on doing much of anything to address this issue.

What's the next best board? The Asus X870E Hero?

Not planning to RMA a board this expensive without getting a replacement from them before sending mine in. I'd rather just return it to NewEgg.

I think the reason MSI has yet to respond or officially address this issue is that it stems from hardware rather than software. They haven't found a thorough solution except for RMA. If they implement a widespread RMA policy, it would lead to significant losses due to high costs. Based on the current situation, almost all first-generation X870e Godlike motherboards have this issue. In my opinion, this is a serious problem that affects user experience with one of the company's highest-end products.
