Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.
So how big does this thread have to get before MSI acknowledges that this is common and known problem and issue a statement?
That's the main point and question.

Without appear offensive or something, is a shame by MSI that after around 3 months, there is not an official report, communication or workaround on this problem on a high tier board like this one.

Noone of us want to spend more than 1000$ (1500€ in my case) and not have the absolute certainty that will work normally.
I guess all of us will not use our builds just for games, is a must for a PC owner to be sure on the correct working state, accessing our data, or using it for works too.
I'm sure that all of us want and claim stability from a such important and expensive part like this board.

MSI, for the next month, I wanted this board for my build, but with these defects, issues and your silence, without fixing the problem, you really are forcing me, and i guess other users too, to choose another brand.

Mind that this is a user to user forum, so MSI officials very rarely reply.
I've already made our contacts at MSI aware of this issue, but it's down to whoever works on the actual firmware itself to provide a solution.
We're also not given any info whether it's an issue specific to some kind of batch, as not everyone has issues using dashboard.
I am also waiting for a permanent fix as I want to get my hands on this board too 🙃

Hello everyone,
my Board shipped with the latest Data from the Update Tool, but the Firmware is not Up to Date. I Dont force to Update the Firmware at all. I have my Board since 29.01.2025 and have zero issues with the DD3. Latest MSI Center Installed, and im running the A22 Bios. The A24 Bios gives me Boot Loops. My 4 Last Digits from my Serial Number starts not with a zero.

It will work until suddenly it doesn't. The usual time seems to be 2-3 weeks before issues with the dynamic display / easy bridge start showing up.

I just got my display back from MSI (it was completely dead in an infinite USB connect/disconnect loop) been fine for a week so far running (see below), updated by MSI. So far, so good...

My Firmware is not Up to Date. But the Data is. I will not touch anything. :)

so far since i wiped my msi center and downloaded the new version 2.0.48.0 then used the DYNAMIC DASHBORAD III Firmware Tool 1.0 and have AMI BIOS7E48v1A24 .... i have not had any issues with dash board glitching and it goes back to my setup when i sign into computer at boot up

Your last post about having issues and fixing it was December 20th, 2024, so I'm assuming this is your "so far since".

Received the replacement part today, was with the first firmware from january. Updated it to the second one, let's see how long it works.

I was told by Game Tech Reviews that the DD3 is fixed, permanently. That the issue only remains present for us due to unstable memory. Has anyone else checked their memory? Overclocking and checked for stability?

I used this OCCT thing and I ran a memory test at 100% for 15 minutes. No errors. But I also read in my search that you can't rely on just one tool. You have to run multiple. And maybe 15 minutes isn't enough. I don't know what I'm doing, so that's why I'm asking if any of y'all may have already ruled out memory instability.

I am using the Profile 1 in the BIOS. I don't know anything about overclocking. I just pushed the button to turn it on. I don't think that it's even overclocked, despite setting it to AXMP1, because the memory clock says 3400, but the overclock should be 6800? I'll be more concerned with figuring out when I replace the CPU, but I guess it would be nice to have it OCed now too.

This is my RAM.

Team Group Delta RGB 96GB (2 x 48GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6800 (PC5 54400) Desktop Memory Model FF3D596G6800HC36DDC01

It's on the QVL for the Godlike, but only for the 9000 series processor, not the 7k series. I'm running the 7700X for right now, because it was cheap and I want to replace it with the 9950X3D, if I can get one.

Sounds like total bullshit, the issue is completely unrelated to memory. I asked in my ticket if those rumours are true, because I run at JEDEC specs which is barely possible to be unstable, and it was a no.

The dashboard doesn't seem to like sleep mode, though. After waking my new, updated dashboard shows the "Loading ..." screen forever or until data updated via firmware tool. Sigh. My computer is only turned off once per month for updates, otherwise in sleep when not used.

Thanks. I agree with you, but I don't know enough about memory stuff to refute it outright.

I don't use sleep mode, or fast startup (due to it saving the state of OS when shutting down/turning on), and I don't have that particular issue; so it's possible you are correct.

Seems silly to take some random mediocre knowledge level YouTube System Builder's word for anything. Unless MSI issues a statement, I wouldn't trust anyone or anything.

He also claimed you need to have specific BIOS versions before you use the tool, too.

and which ones would they be?

I don't use Sleep mode any more at all. Its just too flaky for me. Turn on 'Hibernate' and use that. It takes a couple of seconds longer to start up, but it also is power loss friendly and saves more power since it saves to disk and then shuts off the system completely without any trickle of power running to memory to maintain its state.

I agree, but it didn't hurt to ask if others have ruled out memory instability. We haven't had anything tangible to go on, but that hasn't prevented us from hypothesizing possible reasons. I found it ridiculous that there has been an additional ~340 posts since the Jan. 16th firmware update, but the issue is supposedly resolved, and that we all just have unstable memory. Post count isn't anything definitive, but rather an indication that the issue is not resolved.

Hibernation has a weird issue for me where gaming performance drops massively after "wake" until a regular reboot. I never could find out why. I first noticed it when playing DA: Failguard, if PC was in hibernation before starting the game, I get massive FPS drops (the every 5 seconds from 144 to 5 sort, as if the VGA just doesn't want to work). Later also noticed for Diablo IV, which I like to play irregularly. That's not MSI related though, already had that with ASUS board. I suspect it has to do with 24H2 which also for a few people including me causes stuck parts on the screen when alt tabbing out of a game and scrolling - need to disable Multi Plane Overlay to fix that. I guess I could go back to 23H2 but not really worth it.
