Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.
Do you have any means to test it? Would be interested to at least know if they fixed it or not.

Anyway, I have installed my board now and I am closely monitoring the monitor.
I am running into a bunch of other problems, however. For starters, the latest BIOS (a24) does not work at all for me. I cannot POST with any USB devices plugged in and have to strip down to the bare minimum (Mouse/Keyboard). As soon as I start adding devices it bootloops trying to POST.

MSI sent me an unlisted BIOS to test, but I am wary or that, especially since downgrading to a22 has solved it completely. However it would be interesting to see if a different BIOS has and implication with the display issue, as they have implicated in the BIOS patch notes that it does.

Furthermore: I am having a lot of trouble with m.2 SSDs on this board.
- M2_1 runs at PCIE 1.0 x4, seems to be a Chipset related bug: link-
- M2_2 slot shows up as empty in the BIOS but shows up fine in Windows
- High temps (the motherboard seems inadequate to cool FIVE m.2's (and indeed they all idle at 50c for me because of it). Not sure if that is normal

sorry for going a little Offtopic with this, but I this is the only Godlike thread on this forum so I would appreciate to hear other people's experience
Hmm, I have no issues with all my usb devices connected to the motherboard on the latest A24 BIOS. The only issue with USB I have is I described in the other thread here - https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/meg-x870e-godlike-usb-port-weird-issue.409650/ but it was also the case with the initially installed BIOS (A15 I think and with the A22 update I installed later).

My M2_1 runs on PCIe 5.0 x4 and my Crucial T705 1TB in it just fine. The Crucial T700 4TB Gen 5.0 in M2_2 slot works fine too (in x4 mode with disabled 40gbps usb ports and in x2 mode with those ports enabled).

My NVMe drives temps:

I think it might be okay for them to stay within the 40-60C range

P.S. My DD3 has been allegedly sent back to me after spending 3 days at MSI being repaired.

Only DD3. I explicitly asked and they confirmed i could send only the DD3. You could do the same.
Thanks🙏🏻

I am incredibly angry that such an expensive motherboard has such problems! I rightly expect this product to be a priority for the support team! Such a problem should not be taken lightly. MSI should offer a solution to this immediately. After all this time, no safe solution has been found? Only the FW update tool, which causes more problems than it solves!

We all are, and MSI must do something about it to restore the trust it has lost in the brand. But the hope is fading by the day. I'll likely not purchase GPU from them, despite initially it was the plan - buy mobo and GPU from MSI. The brand I used to trust in the past.

Sadge :( I'll probably put mine on the shelf after receiving it from RMA until it's fixed for real.
They will not fix anything.

You can look at my recent pasts, I spent a lot of time the past week to contact the support from MSI China, MSI America, MSI UK and MSI Italy, opening a official ticket.
I sent them pictures and videos, where are shown the still present issues, and the bad users reviews, all dated recently, after the updates, and even with the latest firmware.

They all simply answer that yes, there was issues with DD3, but them now declare all are fixed with the latest firmware and updates.

My conclusion about that is that the problem could be hardware, but restricted to some units.
They probably know that, but simply, are waiting that the faulty units on the market will vanish, replaced with the good ones, because they not want to open a statement and recall back all of them.

Well, maybe, but we have at least one case here in this thread where the repaired unit died again. I'm sure there will be people who will keep sending them back over and over and they will have to realize that it's not fixed.

They wrote me back 20 minutes ago from now, basically saying again the same thing:

------
Checked the records of this issue.
If the users had previously RMAed the product, is possible that the previous firmware was used, and similar issues may occur again.
The latest firmware and MSI center versions have resolved this issue.
------

Translated, mean they not even have in mind to think to investigate on this.
They know about this open thread, because I linked it to them in my original text to the four country's MSI support.

Honestly, I will anyway keep a hope in the next weeks for something changing, but I'm just now searching for an alternative board.
If someone want to try to change their mind, well, good luck.

Ok considering the amount of messages, can I please get everyone with this board (regardless if the dashboard works or not) to send me a PM with the following so I can get a summary to my contact?
Please keep PM on topic and as below. Any critisism is welcome in the public forum, but not in the PM. I just want to gather as much info as possible to see where MSI is at with the dashboard and make them aware that people still have issues.

Your full system spec. See: >>Posting Guide<<
Board S/N
store bought from (and country if imported)
your country
Did you RMA the dashboard? If yes, please provide case/RMA number (if you have one).
If RMAd, have they replaced or reflashed the dashboard (if known)?
What is the current status in your case? Is it working fine? Better than before? Still having issues?
Current MSI Center and dashboard FW version.
Any other notes that may be relevant? e.g. "unplugging my mouse allows the dashboard to work fine"

Are you sure? You might not know unless you check regularly. Boot and load times may not be that noticeable as PCIE1 x4 is still several GB/s. You'd have to check with CrystalDiskInfo after each boot. Half the time it does run at the proper speed. It's sporadic.
From what I hear, setting the m2 slot to Gen 4 instead of 5 or Auto also only anecdotally "helps a little", same with disabling power saving modes.

My Crucial T700 4TB Gen 5.0 in M2_2 slot works fine too, it just does not show up in the BIOS.

Thank you for your input !

You're right, the latest BIOS indeed shows M2_2 slot as not present, but in the NVMe Self-Test it displays the SSD in that slot but without a slot designation.

As to PCIe 1 x4, I have yet to see it. Last three boots the crucial tool shows it's Gen 5 x4. And Crystal Disk Mark shows appropriate speeds. PCIe 1.0 x4 max speed would be about 800MB/s in large sequential reads and way way way much slower in real world scenarios with random reads, and I'd probably notice it. Maybe it just hasn't happened to me yet since I don't shutdown or reboot my computer that often.

Fresh benchmark:

Why would you want this info from someone who does not have the issue?
