Hi,
I have a problem with Dynamic Dashboard III on X870E Godlike.
Dashboard have a problem with show information such as temp, dynamic image, ... LCD flickers when show information temp.
If you have any way to fix it, please help me.
Thank you so much.
Best regard.

Solution
I am receiving messages that the bridge is mostly stable with the version from 16th Jan. So first of all, please make sure you update the firmware as well as BIOS and MSI Center.
It should be interesting ppl showing the productuon date of the board, from the complaining it seems older models are afected you can see the production label on the box

My english is not 100% but… There is alot of talking about this issue in alot of forums and reddit, this is basic Stuff the usb disconection is eliminated this way at least on 2 cases that its implemented, bu its not a Plug and play solution it also ppl need to have the sensitivity to put it on right position, and it does not fix bad firmware implementation or buggy software, if ppl dont like it Just dont use it, and complain to msi for a fix

Mine's definitely pre-2025, I bought it end of November, 2024.
Question: Where did you see videos of comparisons of old vs new?

Also, just had a second Disconnect / Reconnect + DDIII Reboot.
Oh wait, now a third, then 2 mins after a fourth soon after =/
Time to re-flash I guess.

What's weird is, this afternoon about 14hrs ago. I plugged in a portable USB CD Reader. 5mins after I unplugged it, that the first restart of the DDIII happened, weird.

Not sure how to decode when mb was manufactured, only assuming 020B2503 from serial might mean March 2025, Received mine at beginning of April and it was on 3 months order from distributor, not end store, so probably recent.
Only aware single disconnect two weeks running it, but I have LED off, dont have MSI software installed and nothing connected to it so far.
Still waiting for some parts to complete build so I didnt bother with connecting anything but bare minimum stuff to it.

I would have two complaints so far:
- MSI should do better packaging especialy on 1200 euro board, on mine 2nd nvme heatsing disconnected during transport and was ratling all over board, making some scratches and dents all over heatsinks and one of bottom nvme cooling plates, plus damaged some of nvme cooling pads. Only pure luck it did not damage socket, scratched pcb or kick some SMD of board.
- They should have put bottom nvme few more milimeters away from x4 PCI-e slot, its nice they make it open back, but x8 card colide slightly with nvme mounting pin.

Maybe one more thing, put in spare cooling pads for NVMEs that are single sided as having cooling pad that is not touching probably make its temperature slightly worse.

Also, had to put extra fan cooling memory, during OCCT memory test mine quickly reached 79 degrees which is too much for DDR5, mostly caused by DD3 blocking most of meory for airflow. That extra fan put memory temps from 79 (and I assume it would go even higher as it was only 20% done when I added fan) down to 39.

So far only once I heard DD3 disconnect sound in two weeks, sitting arrounf 16h next to it.
NVMEs allways working at Gen4/5 speed (4TB Samsung 990 PRO and 990 EVO in slot 1-2 and Gigabyte 1tb in last slot) but I am running m,y PC 24x7 with just reboots for SW updates, sleep disabled.

yea dunno about all ppl aplications, i run my system balls to wall, max overclocked and cpu is delided, also i use a chiller for max oc runs ou daly depends, alot of you guys for shure are using alot of power saving sleep etc etc and tha interfers with hardware beahavior

Not saying you guys need a chiller or max overclock but maybe change some setting an test

if you want to OC memory watercool its alot better

Dont get much OC with dual rank 48GB dims and extra Airflow is enough for them. 6000 is stable, 6400 was not 100% stable and would probably need a lot of tuning.
And speeds over 6400, not worth it as there is drop of performance unless you could make it close to 8000 and thats nearly impossible with dual rank memory.

For CPU and GPU I am using WC already, just need some extra EK fittings that are not in stock to optimize it for new case.
PS: I prefer EPDM tubing, chemicaly stable and no plasticizer leaking and gunking/staining like in regular soft tubing.

Also, I am running WC just for Silence and Lower temps, not realy interested in CO records and benchmarking.

i watercool for more then 25 years never had a leak with softtubing and no gunk, just need the right stuff and take care of it

cheers

Not water leaking, but all normal soft tubing ontains checmical called plasticizer, thats making it softer, but also overtime leaking from tubing to your cooling fluid and i had to pretty much every time to clean blocks and replace tubing after few years. EPDM on other hand is ruberish and inert, thats why its used in chemical and food industry. You can run your loop for years without maintenance as long as your blocks and cooling fluids are without issues and never need to replace tubing.

Ignore error on DD3, thats just being in bios and cables as not bothering with them until I have all parts to redo water loop and cabling.
I just pretty much replaced old board with Godlike without touching water loop.

if you add the right chemicals no problems, i do change all stuff tubes after 1year more or less and clean tubes i use filters, and i have 5 D5 on the CPU loop and 3 on the GPU loop (still waiting for the waterblock for it) gunk does not have time to settle in :) in a normal WC situation using it long periods and dont have the rigth stuff yea, not my case

PS . your board production comes on the BOX, it has a : JAN / FEB / MAR / DEZ / NOV

Also ppl having problems should update to MSI center 2.0.53.0 as it changes some information on DDIII so it does something to it.

One question does MSI center has to be updated manualy ? becouse this update does not come via windows store had to manualy updated to site version

Ok, mine says JAN before one of barcodes.
I dont care about display except showing CPU temp and post codes, So I didnt even bother instal MSI center, just using default with most display off using onboard led switch.

Finally got around to installing everything ... Went I turn on the PC the it will not post the DDD is blank any help
Turn off PC, disconnect everything from DD3 and let it disconnected from board for about half hour, then try put it back without anything connected to it and see if that works.

First dont be sloppy dude conect de cable directly or use the adapter from the board not from asus or other brand and conect all the cables all the way in on that and the usb 2.0 next to the 21 pin

second put the memory the correct way

Yeah I tried everything you suggested but it still will not display anything on the DDD it's just blank thanks for the help

Granted I have the intel version but if MSI Center isnt installed it will sometimes go blank and not show anything. This mostly happens after a fresh windows install if I had it set to something other than the default setting.

It seems that my dashboard reboot was linked to the 576.02 Nvidia drivers. It was nonstop rebooting with a multi-page display then I updated to the hotfix .15 driver and now it will only reboot once then when I set it to a multi-page it doesn't reboot anymore and this has been days. It still doesn't show the GPU usage it stays at 0% no matter what. At least the stupid thing doesn't reboot every 5 secs. It worked fine with a GIF or a single display just when i went to multi it crapped out and rebooted over and over. Which is about right I didn't start having issue until around the time The Last of Us Part II was released. I have yet to go back and try 572.83 but I did notice that it stopped showing GPU usage around the time of all the reboots. The .02 driver has some serious issues with Expedition 33 and even .15 still screws with the colors in the if you have Anisotropic Filtering enable in the control panel.

men this is some weird stuff..... i dont have any kind of problems, i used the nvidia drivers and the hotfix e no problems, my DD3 only restarts when i change colors on it. you guys should post what kind of software your are using on your pcs like fans control rgb etc etc also board production date so some kind a Correlation is made saying this and that helps but.....
