1. Try clear CMOS by pressing Clear CMOS button on the rear panel of the mainboard for 5-10 seconds with PSU powered off and power cord unplugged.
2. Clean the memory module's golden finger with eraser and switch the memory module connected sequence or connect only one stick of memory module on DIMM A2 to try.
3. Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU supported on the mainboard since BIOS 7E59v1A20. Could you check the mainboard manufacture date from the serial number for looking up the BIOS version of the mainboard according to the post: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?...-5-5600-need-bios-update.388881/#post-2210825

I've cleared the cmos.
I have tried one ram stick it's A2 and I tried one in B2.

I've also tried updating the motherboard to the latest bios as of 13th of January which is one the support page and it still gives me the EC error. The RAM is brand new outer the box not sure why I would need to clean the gold contacts on it however I might take a look.

What specific version of Patriot memory are you using? Could you provide us with the SKU (that long list of letters and numbers that makes no sense at first sight). Did you check it again the QVL?

PVV564G600C36K. It might not be on the list but the board wouldn't stay in ec it would give a completely different code

Makes no sense why I still get EC and no display even after everything I have done
Remove and reseat the CPU befor re-seating chek for any contamination in the socket, like dust or hair, also check for bent pins.

A while back, I swapped out the CPU and got a boot fail. The cause was this

Any chance you can get a cleaner photo
You do tend to need a lot of light for a clear shot

Yes sorry about that I took those photos at night and to be honest right now it's back in the box packed waiting for a response from the company. I took multiple photos that day i can upload them now again they're not the best but I literally put the photos into Google's Gemini aI and ask that could have find bad pins and it was said no but then again it's just AI
