EXPERT NEEDED: Monitor fades half dark after 2 seconds of being on

Hi there,
I’m having a problem with my MAG274QRF-QD that I noticed others are having as well, but seemly nobody has a fix.

Recently whenever I power on my monitor, the MAG274QRF-QD lights up like normal, but after a couple seconds it flickers and the left side fades to black (see all 4 photos, happening within a 6 second span, each having a flicker between them).

When this first happened, I was strangely able to search for windows updates, then reinstall graphics drivers to fix it for the session, until I turned off my PC. Now this solution no longer works.

I’ve updated the monitors firmware and software, restored the monitor to factory setting, updated and cleaned my graphics card, cleared CMOS, and restored windows. It is definitely the monitor, as the issue persists when connected to my laptop and even when it’s not connected to anything, just showing the msi symbol half faded.

I had a one year warranty and it’s up- we’re a year and a half in. I can’t afford a new monitor because I’m moving and thought buying this high end one would be a good idea, so anyone that can offer possible solutions would be a hero.
Thanks for reading and I hope you aren’t suffering from the same issue!

Hey, thanks for the response fauc! Unfortunately I followed the steps instructed but there was no change.

My situation:
My main screen, MSI MAG274QRF 2k, with hardly noticeable flickering, around 2 seconds, turned off half of the screen, just faded, created a kind of gradient, like half a screen with minimum brightness. I turned it OFF and ON it worked, but not for long. Then restarted the PC, didn't help. Then tried different settings inside the monitor menu, and those that turn the screen off for a second kind of helped (Anti Motion Blur). While playing games, I noticed that it happens when sudden flashes happen in the game (like flash grenades in CS). So, what my stupid brain concluded is that it is connected to a peak power consumption that something can not handle, and that is why it just shorts out the weak point. While playing in Anti Motion Blur mode, I did not notice this problem again, but I did not do enough tests to be sure (it makes the screen like 50% darker, which is why I did not use it for long). I also tried 120Hz mode and 165Hz mode, no difference, same problem.
WHAT HELPED ME FOR NOW (needs longer test)
I have 3 monitors with RTX4060, 1 HDMI MI, and 2 Display Port MSI (Mag274QRF-QD) and (MP273A). I had a problem with my main screen, 2k Mag27. From the last cleaning, I switched the DP ports of my monitors, so maybe that was a problem. Or cables are bad. No Idea, but I switched them around, and now I do not see the problem coming back. This is a very shity solution, but what can we do? I worked the whole day, no problem.
