After we made the first testing with Athlon 64 we recognised there is an enormes potential for all High End Low Noise Freaks. We where so exited that we said we will bild up a hundert percent fanless PC based on Athlon 64 and MSI components. After we anounced oure Idee, the reaktion of hardware colleges said:?absolutly impossible, that never would work, no chance...? But we believe in our ideas

Interesting. Very interesting. I would love to hear how your CPU fairs after a few weeks. Oh yes also what is the ambient tempreture in the room and then inside the case as well as CPU temps.

<--- would like a spell checker to correct the previous errors so i could understand it :bonk: .. only joking .. ive spelt like that after a few beers .. lol

I wrecked the fan on a Gainward GeForce AGP card while cleaning and replaced it
with a Zalman heatpipe fanless cooler about a year ago. The card worked great
for about 3 weeks then became toast :nooo:

I have a very nice system with 2 120 mm Titan Chrome fans and it is almost completely silent. I laugh at people I know with watercoolers cause I reach the same temps for half the price. I did look at this Zalman setup but at that price I think I will learn to live with the +- 20 Db that my system makes while running no more then only 35 degrees C on my cpu under load and 28 degrees C case temps with an ambient temp of 20 C. But it is a great solution !! I tried a promotheia but I can tell you , you take a big chance running either water or freon through a closed circuit of electronics. My prommy dripped only 1 drip on my videocard and I could kiss the better part of my system goodbye. Never again.
