Fastest ram someone has in their z790 carbon?

So, I have 4x16gb of DDR5 6600 in my z790 carbon working fine. Technically the docs say 2DPC 1R maxes out at 6400, but I guess it can go a little higher?

I've been wondering how fast the RAM could go. GSKILL has out now the DDR58000 sticks. I presume 4x16gb of DDR58000 is too much, but maybe 2x16gb?

4 stick is definitely a no go. For 2 stick @ 8000mhz, It will most likely require a decent cherry pick CPU and crazy CPU cooler, special motherboard featuring extreme overclocking to make it work. Unless you're very experienced in overclocking, i would suggest to avoid using such combination

I'm impressed, knowing that I can't go above 7200mhz while being stable with gskill 8000mhz 2x16gb, a 13900ks, and a meg ace z790

I'm current rather stable with my 13900k, z790 Ace, and 7000 MHz corsair ram.....however, I only have 2 x 16GB sticks.
The faster you go, the more CPU, voltage, and cooling dependent it becomes......

yes. Worked fine on the z790 carbon with my 13900kf and also with a ks. 4x16gb sticks set 6600 via xmp profile. I do have an ekwb custom loop though.
