First & Last time I buy a MSi Desktop

Why? For several reasons.
First, because when I unboxed my brand new MSi desktop the a window was scratched in several places. I had to take the time to get a new one sent to me. I found one customer service person not at all interested in caring about having to go through this on a brand new computer. He didn't care at all of how unhappy I was to have to spend my time on this. No sorry it came damaged. No sorry trying to read the serial number was such a pain. He made a bad experience worse.

Second, the Mystic light on the front of the tower has been stuck on red all but 3 days that I have had it. I had to spend more time to figure out how to solve this and I never did. MSi's solution was to ship it back to them to fix it. If it it got damaged during the shipping back and no longer worked they wouldn't replace it. Not only would I have to go without my desktop computer for weeks, but it could come back in a lot worse shape and I have to buy a new desktop.

Third, now the MSi mouse stops working or slows way down periodically and I have to spend more time to fix MSi hardware.

Fourth, MSi Center always has something wrong with it.

I won't buy a MSi computer ever again, not worth the bad customer service, software and hardware problems it comes with.

I hate to say it, but I really don't blame ya.

I can't really fault most of your explanations. They're spot on honestly.

I would probably just suggest picking one from a brand that has great service. HP, Dell, etc....tend to have fantastic service for those that don't want to build their own PC's. You'll pay for it, of course, but yeah, it'll generally be a much better experience.

Thanks for reading and replying to my post. The computers that I had least problems with were HP desktops. I bought a Dell laptop and I had all kinds of problems, but maybe that is common with laptops? It was my first laptop, I have nothing to compare it to. I thought Dells software to fix problems was quite good. I will either buy a HP or Dell for my next laptop and desktop.

Yeah. Not to say that MSI is bad, but it's cheaper for a reason. Generally the after purchase support/service just isn't as top notch as Dell or HP.
I had a Dell laptop previously, before I got my MSI laptop, and it worked fantastic, after a little fiddling. But I think that's the same with all of them anymore.

all Laptops have problems and pre built Desktops are similar. where MSI falls badly is after sales support and warranty. been there done that and alot of the Bigger names do it better who are well known for making destops and Laptops like HP, Dell Acer ECT have way better support if things go wrong so I feel your pain.

True about cheaper for a reason. I knew I was buying a "cheaper" computer so I won't do that again. Next time I will pay what I have to pay to get the equivalent of what I got with my MSi desktop.
