Yes, I've reupload it.
The link wasn't broken but download indeed didn't worked anymore.
[don't know why, if I have to speculate: that particular file hosting service maybe blocked the file because archive was named "..... for blind flashing",
and perhaps they[or their automated bot system] put some their own other meaning in this name and blocked it]
reuploaded the same file, again unable to download it,
then did a minor cosmetic change inside archive file before upload again
and it works fine this time

I have a PowerSpec G223 with an MSI B360-A Pro (MS-7B22) that has a custom BiOS file. Can I use this toll to write the latest MSI firmware?

This tool will allow automated flashing MSI boards from UEFI Shell.
Important:
Do NOT use it on a MSI AMD boards from 3xx boards Series. [like X370/B350]
(its OK to use for X399 AMD models as 3xx exception)

It's OK to use for any other newer than [X370/B350] MSI AMD boards or Intel boards.

Hi - will this tool work for the MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI? I'm unable to use M-Flash for some reason to flash the latest BIOS. It posts and says starting M-Flash but then the screen goes black and never comes up so I can't see anything to proceed. I need to flash the BIOS to support the 5800X3D which I just purchased and is coming in a few days. I did go ahead and try this tool and when it booted to the USB drive it says there are too many ROMs on the drive (but I verified there is only 1). Can you please provide any alternative so that I can get my BIOS updated. Thank you in advance!

Yes, this did end up working! I had to use the previous BIOS though:

I realize now the first BIOS I was trying I believe is a Beta version so perhaps that's why it didn't like the initial flash attempt. Either way, THANK YOU for making this tool! It's really unbelievable that MSI don't have an official alternative OR at least mention your tool in their documentation. I was very worried at first that my new 5800X3D purchase was going to be a waste since I couldn't use M-Flash.

Yes, this did end up working! I had to use the previous BIOS though:

You can retry to reflash to the latest version as well.

Thanks. I ended up simply renaming that BIOS file from E7C84AMS.1B0 to E7C84AMS.200 and was able to flash it. I learned this BIOS contains a performance stuttering fix on Windows 11 machines and addresses stability issues with the 5800X3D so definitely wanted to flash it.

Hello everyone good day. Need advice, have a problem from yesterday. After windows update laptop Msi GP76 Vector. Yesterday windows download firmware i think it waa 408 bios, cose i was away at work. After i return laptop bricked, maybe., but the symptoms are bad. But no so, stil alive, well after i try to power up the laptop nothin happens, i just open up reset CMOS, reset memory remove ssd disconnect battery, then disconnect CMOS battery, and waited aprox 12 ours. Nothin... Morning i put all back inside and put charger back, power button blink twice fast, then blink 3 times slow, coolers started and after 5-9 sec all just shutdown. And nothin happens, buttons not workin no life at all. Reset charger ac power button again, blink 2 times short and 3 times long coolers started and shutdown.
All day try to flesh bios from flesh card, fat32 and bios but no luck, maybe i ll do something wrong, but before flash the bios need to now what happens. Please advice will be nice , with pleasure Paul.

I have a Codex XE with an OEM version of the Z370-A PRO motherboard that I have flashed the latest BIOS to, version C30 from here: https://www.msi.com/Desktop/Codex-XE/support
I want to enable resizable BAR, but that feature is only provided in the BIOS for the retail version of the Z370-A PRO motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z370-A-PRO/support

Has anyone else done this crossflash? I do not have access to an SPI programmer in case of problems, and life will go on even without resizable BAR, so what are my chances of success?

Hi everyone
I only have black screen, no post..
I got a working MSI B450M-A-PRO MAX Motherboard for free, bought 2xddr4 3200mhz ram sticks, 1tb nvme pcie 3.0, 512gb sata samsung ssd, Gforce 1050, and a new Ryzen 5 4500 Cpu for the setup.

But i just have a black screen. this version of the board does not have a flashback button on the back io.
So i have tried :
- clearing the CMOS - removing the battery and shorting the jbat1 pins
- boot with one ram stick, and no storage.

I know the CPU does not have any gpu onboard, so i used the hdmi, displayport and dvi port on the graphics card. Just black screen.

I tried the Silent boot method, with a formatted fat32 usb, the silent flash EFI files, and the latest bios files ( AMI BIOS. 7C52v3E. 2022-04-20. 17.49 MB )
nothing works. as i only get a black screen, and can not confirm the uefi and secure boot settings in the bios beforehand.

- tried plugged the usb into all of the usb ports.

Any help?

Check your EZ Debug LEDs (above 24-pin ATX header). If you get "CPU", then the Ryzen 4500 is not supported (it needs a very recent BIOS). The board will not boot without the correct AGESA that has support for your CPU, so everything you try with a USB stick can't really work. And it has no Flash BIOS Button. So you're probably gonna have to use an already supported CPU (1000- to 3000-series) in order to update the BIOS to the latest version, before it can work with the 4500.

the itx version of msi b450m-a pro max does not have ez debug led.. i know it does not have the flash button, as i stated
i know my new cpu is not supported, it is why i am trying to silent automatic flash the bios with the newest bios files for my model (for people without a display)

so i can not use the Silent automatic flashing metod, with a unsupported cpu installed?
i know the normal atx versions of this board have the flash button and can be flashed without a cpu installed.

ITX? You mean micro-ATX? B450M is µATX, and B450I would be Mini-ITX.

Correct, you cannot flash with an unsupported CPU. Your board doesn't even get past POST, so forget about running anything from USB.
The boards with the Flash BIOS Button have a routine onboard which just flashes the BIOS, it doesn't care about anything else, you don't even have to have a CPU in the socket.
Your board very much expects a supported CPU in the socket, and will do next to nothing when it's not supported. That's why you need to update before putting in a new CPU.

Great post I was scared to update my pre built . Now I got the resizeable bar enabled . Make sure you follow the directions fellas. Smi had to search the internet for an hour . For some reason the flash iso in the .rar would not extract. I used my older MacBook to do it.

Yesterday I've updated the BIOS to the new BETA version 7A39v2P3 (the GSE light BIOS) from 2022-07-15.

I wanted to downgrade to the earlier version (7A39v2L from 2019-01-28) but the forum tool96 did not work.
I tried with your tool and it worked perfectly !

Good day, sorry for my English.
I have B450 Gaming Plus Max(r5 1600), now on they set bios from B450 Gaming Plus (Img Bios 1) (Img Bios 2) (long story, this do service my reseller, and wont help me), im try many solution but dont find way to flash original bios (https://download.msi.com/bos_exe/mb/7B86vH0.zip).
When i use tool i have "39 - Error: Multi tank ROMs' Rom ID do not match platform ROM ID." (i think i need to skip check Rom id?)
On address line i need to write name BIOS /X /P /B /K like "fs3: \>E7B86AMS.H00 /X /P /B /K"
Or i dont understand something.
