M-FLASH will not see an update file with a non-matching filename. Everything before the dot, and first character after, have to match with your installed BIOS.
And no, renaming the file will not work, it will see the file then, but it still won't update.
Most likely your board is from a pre-built system that gets its own seperate BIOS updates, and you cannot use the normal BIOS updates for the retail board. For the boards on those pre-built systems, they sometimes use a custom BIOS which might be modified to leave out certain options (for example, to prevent any overclocking that could mess with their cooling concept, which is probably tailor-made for that system).
If you want the official BIOS updates because they are way ahead than the ones for your pre-built PC (if the company that built the PC even offer them), then your only chance is to flash the official MSI BIOS using the flash tool from this thread, at your own risk of course. You should make sure that some key CPU- and cooling-related settings will be set roughly similar afterwards though, or at least take into consideration the previous settings, as they might be adjusted to your system's cooling capabilities.
