Next reboot computer,
and ensure in BIOS Setup:
UEFI Boot is allowed,
and Secure Boot disabled.

After exit from BIOS Setup while computer is booting:
You can press F11 during BIOS post/logo screen, then when BBS popup after a while,
choose the prepared USB key with UEFI in front as name.
i.e: choose to boot from:
UEFI USB your drive

then wait, and you will see the BIOS version shown that is going to be flashed.
and you can press a key to proceed with flashing.
If you don't want to proceed with flashing,
you can press "q" to abort at that point.

when flashing starts,
wait patiently to finish,
ensure successfully message on the screen then reboot or power off the computer.

Optional feature: [Patch AMD BIOS for CP_Flash]
This will allow cross-platform flashing to 32MB BIOS from 16MB BIOS for boards with 256Mbit BIOS chip.
The tool will auto detect if the BIOS support such feature and then will Enable that option.
[in a case when board was flashed to the wrong BIOS to help, restore correct BIOS]

Or use special version for Blind Flashing only:
(It's useful when need to flash BIOS without display [but the PC can still boot and works fine] and performs auto flashing)
For Blind Flashing only: Forum UEFI Shell Flash tool [V1.32]

Short instructions for for Blind Flashing:
[prepare the USB key for flashing,[use the same steps to prepare it as above] then shutdown the PC,
and disconnect temporary any other storages except that USB key that will be used for flashing]
Then turn on PC and wait auto flashing to start and finish automatically.
[when blind flashing is complete the PC will auto shutdown,
then you can remove the USB key and reconnect the rest of your storages and turn it on]

Note1: Be sure to place only one BIOS file on the USB key at the time, before proceed with flashing.
Note2: Due BIOS flashing nature, (which consider every flashing as potential dangerous)
Flash and use at own risk as usual.

Note3: You can use it to downgrade the BIOS too.
Note4: You can cross-platform flash back to correct BIOS 32MB bios. (if the board been flashed to the wrong BIOS by mistake)

EDIT: A video how to use guide made by user efmled:

I'm trying to do "blind flashing" and I'm not succeeding.
In the middle of the bios update I accidentally pressed the reset button.

blind flashing requires a working computer,
[can work with no display or headless boot, to force flash, but the BIOS should be in a working condition]
it can't be used for bios recovery.

open new topic in correct area for troubleshooting

Hello Svet!
I think this tool is my salvation (and thank you so much for making this masterful work). I'm having trouble getting it right.

Quick background, I purchased a Corsair system with a 14th gen processor and the MSI Z-790-P WiFi (DDR 5 version) motherboard and was advised to update the BIOS for the microcode fix. I glossed right over the Corsair guide saying "only use our BIOS..." and used the retail MSI BIOS in error and I'm kicking myself. I don't know how, but M-Flash updated it. When I rebooted I had lost a lot of previously integrated functionality (I guess it's the way Corsair sets things up?).

Corsair says to use their updated BIOS which I downloaded but M-Flash does not even see the file on the drive. So I tried the flashback button on the MB (renamed to MSI.ROM) and that was unsuccessful with a solid red light. I followed first your rufus guide, then the guide above using the Corsair BIOS file but receive the error that there are too many BIOS files on the drive. I'm not sure what else to do to return my system to the way it "should" be before I messed it up ...

I'd love any thoughts you have. I appreciate your time.

Nope, this board is too old, use the other forum usb flasher forum tool, but best open new own topic with details about it what you trying to do and current BIOS version and target one.

Thanks you . Unfortunately, all other msi tools link found on internet are 404 or forum welcome page :(.
I want to do a simple bios flash from an usb stick . I will open a topic thank you !.

Good morning,
I know that you advise against using it for X370 cards, however I have seen some who have succeeded in flashing. Is there a strong risk of flashing your X370 pro carbon with this tool? (M flash no longer launches on my card) thank you very much

Better don't try it if you don't have a SPI Programmer.
Else for possible work around if you want to test, PM me all details.

Hello,
I have a H110M PRO-VH motherboard and I can't bios update it with the traditional way (it is an OEM propably that's what I read). Will this tool work for my motherboard and if so can I load straight up the latest bios update or do I need to go to an older version first and then to the latest one?

Will this tool work for my motherboard
It's OK to try it. The rest depends, but should not cause issues in a case that can't be done. [depends what protections OEM BIOS is build]

and if so can I load straight up the latest bios update

yes, go for latest one directly

Hello @Svet , i need help please. so, i updated the bios on my MSI b350m bazooka to the latest beta 7A38v1N6(Beta version), and windows was broken it was laggy and barely anything worked so i decided to go back to the latest stable bios version (7A38v1J) but when i did it said:
"For providing better BIOS functionality and quality, the system will not allow to restore BIOS with older version after flashing this target BIOS."
so i searched for ways to fix it and found ur tool. and i searched this thread to see if people had the same motherboard as me and faced same issue and yes i found some who did. so i was sure it will work.

after doing everything and getting the USB ready and the tool installed on it. i booted from the USB and i did the steps and all succeeded. then it said "u have option to shutdown or just type reset and it will restart for u" so i typed "reset" and then when the PC restarted it was stuck it didnt boot up to the bios or showed anything on the screen it was just a black screen not detecting the input to the screen, and when i looked inside the pc there was a white led light on motherboard on the CPU led, and the fans ran too fast.

im not sure what to do now. i did try to take off the memory and replace it and switch sides and place it didnt work, i tried taking off the GPU and it didnt work either. both didnt work at the same time. i need help please. how do i fix it. is the motherboard fried/burnt? does it need replacement. its my first ever pc so it's really sad for me.

how do i fix the issue? thank you in advanced.
