>>> Latest Forum UEFI Shell Flash tool <<<

This tool will allow automated flashing MSI boards from UEFI Shell.

Important:
Do NOT use it on a MSI AMD boards from 3
xx boards Series. [like X370/B350/A320]

(its OK to use for X399 AMD model only as 3xx exception)

It's OK to use for any other newer than [X370/B350/A320] MSI AMD boards or Intel boards.

For those who wish to support my project(this tool),

Next reboot computer,
and ensure in BIOS Setup:
UEFI Boot is allowed,
and Secure Boot disabled.

After exit from BIOS Setup while computer is booting:
You can press F11 during BIOS post/logo screen, then when BBS popup after a while,
choose the prepared USB key with UEFI in front as name.
i.e: choose to boot from:
UEFI USB your drive

then wait, and you will see the BIOS version shown that is going to be flashed.
and you can press a key to proceed with flashing.
If you don't want to proceed with flashing,
you can press "q" to abort at that point.

when flashing starts,
wait patiently to finish,
ensure successfully message on the screen then reboot or power off the computer.

Optional feature: [Patch AMD BIOS for CP_Flash]
This will allow cross-platform flashing to 32MB BIOS from 16MB BIOS for boards with 256Mbit BIOS chip.
The tool will auto detect if the BIOS support such feature and then will Enable that option.
[in a case when board was flashed to the wrong BIOS to help, restore correct BIOS]

Or use special version for Blind Flashing only:
(It's useful when need to flash BIOS without display [but the PC can still boot and works fine] and performs auto flashing)
For Blind Flashing only: Forum UEFI Shell Flash tool [V1.32]

Short instructions for for Blind Flashing:
[prepare the USB key for flashing,[use the same steps to prepare it as above] then shutdown the PC,
and disconnect temporary any other storages except that USB key that will be used for flashing]
Then turn on PC and wait auto flashing to start and finish automatically.
[when blind flashing is complete the PC will auto shutdown,
then you can remove the USB key and reconnect the rest of your storages and turn it on]

Note1: Be sure to place only one BIOS file on the USB key at the time, before proceed with flashing.
Note2: Due BIOS flashing nature, (which consider every flashing as potential dangerous)
Flash and use at own risk as usual.

Note3: You can use it to downgrade the BIOS too.
Note4: You can cross-platform flash back to correct BIOS 32MB bios. (if the board been flashed to the wrong BIOS by mistake)

EDIT: A video how to use guide made by user efmled:

Hello Svet!

I am trying to cross-flash a Z490a PRO (MS-7C75) for a friend of mine, who was gifted it by someone who failed to mention it was from a Corsair Vengeance i7200.

At the moment, the board is running OEM E7C75IZ1.2CB, and when I attempt to use your tool to flash the latest retail E7C75IMS.2G0 onto it, I get the expected 18 - Error: Secure Flash ROM Verify Fail.

I've cleaned the USB drive and reformatted it to Fat32 with Rufus, used 7zip and WinRAR to extract the files, and made sure that the USB 2.0 drive is in a USB 2.0 slot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated when you get the time!

PM me all details.

My laptop is an MSI Vector GP68HX 13V that had a BIOS corruption problem. I took it to a repair shop, and the technician managed to get it working again, most likely by flashing the BIOS with a CH341A physical programmer. The problem is that he forgot to configure the DMI table, so my laptop now has no serial number and appears as "Product Name: Please change product." Serial Number: FFFFFFFF. I've been desperately searching for a solution, but I live in an area with no specialized technicians, and it's like I'm speaking Chinese to them. I was wondering if your BIOS flashing method could restore the DMI tables or, failing that, force the BIOS update, since I can't do it normally—that is, by accessing the laptop's BIOS—I haven't been able to update using the traditional USB method. I get the error: "Open BIOS image to update failed, wrong image format 11." According to chat gpt, this is because the laptop doesn't have its serial number or product name, so it can't be compatible with the latest MSI BIOS I downloaded from the official website. Could you please help me? I would be eternally grateful if you could assist me or guide me through this process.

Hello Svet, I have a problem with my mobo MSI A320m Pro E the bios version is updated to E7A36AMS.I43. After few PCIE setting tweaked on bios boot it wont finish POST and stucked with VGA Led indicator turned on from my mobo ez debug. I will try to use a processor with igpu to boot it, my question is, can I cross flash to retail bios version (E7A36AMS.H7A) using your tool? Looking forward to your response :)

The tool is not for notebooks.

Nah, don't use it for A320 16MB BIOS image versions.

Hello everyone. I've encountered a problem with my b760m Mortar II WiFi + 13600K system.
Everything was purchased new and worked fine for a few months. The BIOS was updated with the latest firmware. It's currently on the latest version, 1A0. Everything worked fine before that.
But recently, I started having startup issues. A cold start can take 10-20 tries, and the CPU LED (red) lights up. I have to force it to turn off and then back on again. The system can also restart itself cyclically, with the CPU LED flickering on and off.
Attempts to roll back the BIOS, remove the graphics card, insert a single memory module, or insert the memory into different slots have yielded no results. I want to try rolling back the ME version and the BIOS to at least v1.90 just to be sure. But Flash Tool doesn't allow this, ME not downgraded. I need advice on what to do?

PS: The processor was upgraded to a 14700K, the power supply is intact, all connectors are present, and no overclocking was performed. Patriot Venom 6800 MHz (A-die) memory.
I apologize for the spelling, it was done by a translator.

No need to downgrade the ME, it's not what can cause the issue for sure.
If you want downgrade the BIOS only.
Else open new own topic in correct area for troubleshooting your PC issues. ( and provide full system specs, >>Posting Guide<< )

You should not use it for this board. As it says:
Important:
Do NOT use it on a MSI AMD boards from 3xx boards Series. [like X370/B350/A320 (16MB BIOSes)]

(its OK to use for X399 and A320 (32MB BIOS versions only], AMD models as 3xx exception)

Nope, it's up to current BIOS installed security features.

It WAS E7D25IZ1.ACI But Corsair just emailed me another one to try and it was E7D25IACH.7. I havent tried the flash tool with this one yet

This "E7D25IZ1.ACI" is already the latest version

But Corsair just emailed me another one to try and it was E7D25IACH.7.

Can you double check this name again? There is some error on this name
And are you flashed this or can't flash it?

Ok. So i flashed an older bios version that Corsair sent me, then used the flash tool to try to flash an MSI (7D25vAJ) version and it gave me the same msg

You can't flash from OEM secured BIOS to retail BIOS because those BIOSes are build with a different security features.
