Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my P67A-GD65 (B3) with teh E7681V43 bios, both I get a message that the ROMID is not right.
I Downloaded the forums Tools94.rar and the E7681V430.rar file but winrar says they are corrupt.
I think I also bricked my primary Bios but the card has a secondary bios but I don't know how I am going to get that to kick in.
In worst case I was thinking of flash via SPI port but I want to know that the BIOS works first.

Hello I have an MSI H67MA-E45 B3 motherboard that I'm trying to upgrade from the original bios version to the most up to date version that supports a Sandy Bridge CPU. The bios on the computer doesn't see the bios update file when I try to do it from the bios update utility built into the bios itself. I downloaded the tool94 file from this thread but I want to make sure I'm using the right tool version etc. before I build the thumb drive and boot from it to run the bios update using this great tool.

Yes, the tool is right, but you also need the proper archive file to use it,
Do you have such too? or are you looking for it?
If so, what is the current installed BIOS version?

I have the same issue (and motherboard) as jorge above. I've been able to download the MSI update for my P67A-GD65 (B3) but the update tool says the USB isn't bootable. Fast forward to me finding this forum and I'm trying to download the USB tool from the first post in this thread and WinRAR is telling me it's corrupt and can't open it. Is there a mirror link for it?

BIOS: v22.8
OS:windows10 x64

I want to use GTX1650.
I heard that I have to upgrade the BIOS version.
I got tool94 and 7681v43 (Z68AGD65.exe).
The USB flash is also formatted in fat32.

I'm trying to update my MSI MS 7740 (H61MA-E35 B3) BIOS (currently installed version is E7740IMS V1.2) to the latest version using the archive rar file provided by SVET (much appreciated). I got as far as running MEMTEST and no errors found there. I proceed to update and get a warning about not having enough flash memory. (See the attached picture) The USB is 2GB but somehow the warning says it's only 4096kb. I tried a different USB stick and different ports, but no luck. What can I do?

I have a B350M Mortar Arctic and I'm trying to roll back to E7A37AMS.AA0, and I seem to be having the same issue as this post #2735 https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/forum-usb-flashing-tool.108079/post-1743843 . The latest beta bios as well as AI0 seem to ruin my VFIO setup completely, and AA0 is the last one that works (I know 7A37vAC broke it too but somehow I was able to use the tool to flash back to AA0 again back then). I took that as a clear warning, which is what brought me back to this thread, where I at least have also seen some other 3xx boards. I tried with Tool94 and Tool93, same error on both (as in post #2735). I suppose I could also try other EFI versions between AI0 and AC if it'll let me go back that far, but I remember AC was the "hard stop" for normal downgrade before.

with latest GSE BIOSes they become issue and no longer works for smooth switching.

Ah, for the B350M Mortar Arctic then I take that to mean that as long as I'm not running 7A37vAKS I should still be OK to run v1.14?
