Hello svet

There is some new information about that. I cant get vision from my graphic card. i can get vision from onboard gpu. I think this bios dont fit my graphic card. I try to flash 25.xx but i cant flash that too...

I prepare usb same way, downloaded bios from here >>> https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z68AGD55_G3

The tool works fastly and dont show any erasing & writing stuff. Just 2 sec and say update succesful. But still the same bios version when i reboot.

I want to try lower than 25.8.  i tried p1 and 25.2 but both of them didint flash properly. still versio?n 23.6

Why its not working?

BTW windows didint boot with that. I change the boot priority but still its not booting. ? change ahci and ide vs still no reaction. Just flashing line on the screen.

Hello again Svet,

I solved the problem and want to give my experiences with this sutiation.

?f z68A mainboard is using with new graphic card, the bios version must be higher than 25.x. Othervise you cant get vision. Only onboard is working.
The most stable bios version is 25.8 (even if you use sandy bridge)
When i download bios from msi website, this tool dont update your bios. because its .exe format in msi website. I find your thread and find the bios driver uploaded by you. I download and used this flash program, it worked and i came back 25.8 bios.

Thank you for your help in my journey. i came where i started but i learned lots of new information about bios.

Well done!

you need again a special archive to able to do it and switch between bios bases.

Hi guys,

I would like to update the bios of a 790fx-gd70 motherboard, the tool provided at the beginning of the topic is said to be 32 & 64 bits compliant including windows XP. When I try to open it in windows XP I'm getting an error saying that it is not a win32 valid application.

Is there another version of this tool for 32 bits windows system?

Do I have to do something particular to make it work?

nope, recent versions migrate to x64 bit support only and drops support for xp and 32bit OS

Dear All,

Thank you for developing a tool like this I believe it has been a life saver to many people.

In my situation, I have a Msi b450m Bazooka MB with Ryzen 5 2600 installed and I've updated the bios to latest version (which I wish I didn't) and after that I've lost my audio. Audio device doesn't show up in Windows eventhough onboard audio is enabled in the bios.

So I've downloaded the tool hoping I would successfully flash back to an older bios to solve my problem. I've created the usb and started the flashing process.

Btw I had trouble with new generation Sandisk sticks-they didn't boot the tool in the bios and I've solved it by using an old generic usb stick.

While I was trying to flash it, it has given the error code
"46 - Error : Problem getting flash information.
Recovery attempt N1 failure!
Recovery attempt N2 failure!"

Then it jumps to last screen saying the process completed but it surely doesn't because after restarting and entering bios, nothing changed.

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Thank you all.

Thanks for the answer, first might be edited to specify that the tool is not 32bit compliant anymore.

So at the end, without having access to a win64, what would be the best option to flash my 790fx-gd70 mobo?

Having an issue with latest version 1.28j. My motherboard is MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WIFI. The tool says none of the bios for this motherboard are bios files. The specified file is everything else but not a valid bios file. Please try again and select a valid bios file. I have tried this with method one and get told to use method 2. I've used multiple versions of the tool in the past and I've never run into this issue before. These are the bios versions I've tried both give the error. 7B93v176(Beta version)   7B93v16
Could someone please try this with these bios versions and let me know their findings. Thank You

The tool do not support those generations mainboards,
you should use M-Flash instead.
