My msi ge63 raoder rgb 8re has been experiencing random fps drops. for example, fifa would just drop down to about to below 20 fps every now and then I have no clue why

Try to update your GPU drivers and stop the useless activities through the task manager. If you didn't activate your windows genuine, that also can happen.

If you have installed core tasking applications like android studio, VS, servers or anything like that will be a dropdown of your laptop performance. Make your bios as default and your hard drive should be optimized and well managed. Don't do any overclocking or high resolution things with the game. Try the default settings on the game and try to play that.

When did you found this problem?
Did the FPS drops happen at any games?

I suggest you update BIOS, EC firmware, and VGA drivers (Intel and NVIDIA) to the latest version.
For the BIOS and EC firmware, search the version of the MSI website.
For the VGA drivers, search it on the Intel and NVIDIA website.
Intel driver clean-install instruction: https://www.msi.com/faq/notebook-3267
NVIDIA driver clean-install instruction: https://www.msi.com/faq/notebook-2110

I found it a few months ago. Fifa would constantly drop to 15 frames at times or hover around 20. Warzone also kept dropping frames

Have you updated the BIOS, EC firmware, and VGA drivers?
If the problem still persists, I suggest you use HWiNFO to record the log.
I can help you to check the detail.
