Try to update your GPU drivers and stop the useless activities through the task manager. If you didn't activate your windows genuine, that also can happen.
If you have installed core tasking applications like android studio, VS, servers or anything like that will be a dropdown of your laptop performance. Make your bios as default and your hard drive should be optimized and well managed. Don't do any overclocking or high resolution things with the game. Try the default settings on the game and try to play that.
When did you found this problem?
Did the FPS drops happen at any games?
I suggest you update BIOS, EC firmware, and VGA drivers (Intel and NVIDIA) to the latest version.
For the BIOS and EC firmware, search the version of the MSI website.
For the VGA drivers, search it on the Intel and NVIDIA website.
