Hi,

When I go away from my desk at the end of the day, I disconnect the power for my entire desk (through a button, shuts off the lights as well).
I could always manually turn off previous monitors before disconnecting the power, but for the MSI 341CQR x36 this does not seem to be possible.
The monitor always seems to be in some type of stand-by mode, no matter how long I wait, resulting in two/three hard clicks when I disconnect the power.

Two questions:
1. Is there some way to manually turn off the monitor?
2. Is it in any way harmful to the monitor to disconnect the power while it is in stand-by mode?

I do watch the led-light at the bottom: when it is pulsing due to the OLED care, I wait before disconnecting the power. And I can press the 'power button' at the back to at least get to a state where the LED-light is turned off, but this is still some form of stand-by and results in hard clicks when disconnecting the power.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the answer. I've tried it with and without the AI care sensor, but even when the LED-light is off, in both cases the monitor is not as shut off as disconnecting the power.
What's this? Sound coming from the monitor? Electrical component?
It comes from the monitor, probably electrical components/switches that react to the discharge.
