G255PF E2 monitor shows up as ACER monitor in color profile

Hi ! I just bought a g255PF E2 monitor and after downloading and installing the drivers directly from MSI the monitor shows up as a ACER VG240Y S3
Just trying to figure out what does that mean ? Do i have a acer monitor but just rebranded MSI ? did acer and msi do a collab ? lol just curious
