This time i have traced the threads and have found no help for this one....

i have the g4mx440-vtp and have tried (badly) to get video onto the computer through it..i do get the audio though...

i have an older camcorder with compsite plug. under winproducer (came with the card) i select the nvidia WDM capture device, select composite and get the sound but the video "screen" is blank and any other box that pops up in it (property bar,, etc...) just kinda "sticks" there.

I downloaded the new drivers and i have the 4 devices showing up in the device manager:
nVidia WDM A/V crossbar (ver 1.1.1.0)
nVidia WDM TVAudio Crossbar (ver 1.1.1.0)
nVidia WDM TVTuner (ver 1.1.1.0)
nVidia WDM Video Capture (universal) (ver 1.1.6.0)

not sure what else i can let you know to help me.... but i am on here at least..........allot haha :D
So i leave it up to you all for the help..

thanks

uninstall and reinstall and (wincoder and winproducer)Makes it work ,if you have it

:( No work,,, tried uninstall and then reinstall, even went through registry and cleared the hanging stuff,,, same problem....

ok,,, i tried the windows xp movie maker program after i had remove the intervideo winproducer and i get this message:

"Either your capture device is in use by another application or the output from your capture device is not recognized by windows movie maker."

i have that (movie maker) set for audio/video, and composite selected.

i have a USB logitec quickcam 300 installed on the computer and it does work in both movie maker and winproducer....

not sure if this information will help someone but i am all about letting you know anything i can to help me..

thanks

Are you trying to use in the same time the video capture from your camcorder and the quickcam (or have them plugged at the same time)? If so, maybe you can try with the camcorder only. Maybe the quickcam starts or uses an application that needs the video capture driver and it is no longer available for your camcorder. Disconnect the quickcam and reboot. If an application uses the video capture, a second one will probably display a message as you are receiving.

The sound uses the line in of your sound card, that's why it is working.

thanks Bluesky,,,, but i tried that one last night and still getting the same thing..... i am pretty much at a stand still on this,,,,, its a weird one,,, my TV out works just fine, i know it is a different thing all together,,,,,, sure wish i could figure this out. would love to talk to MSI support but from what i have seen here in the forums,, that would be a waste of time....

Are we all stumped on this one?

Thanks

Well Rus, it worked!!!! i could have swore i swapped those drivers out at least more than once,,,hahaha

But none the less,,, switching to the nVidia 1.08 WDM drivers fixed the problem

:D

Thanks again group and expecially Rus!!!!!!!
