Ok lets start i bought G4Ti4200-TD MS-8870 few days ago.

I have inserted it into VGA slot (and the little fan WORKS).

Now i just cant get it to start working, when i turn PC on, it dont ask for new drivers because he detected new hardware. IT DOES NOTHING, like i haven't put the graphics card at all, EVERYTHING IS THE SAME AS BEFORE.
It could be that my motherboard dont support this card (thats one of the things i thought some of you might tell me) or it could be somethig else.

Here is my specification of my PC:

Motherboard: PC chips M810 LMR
Processor: 1G Hz AMD Athlon
376 MB of RAM memory
2 Hard Drives (20+80 GB)

Im 101% sure that my "old" graphics card is an "onboard", but im not sure about the sound card (it is very possible that it is too).

I've had few people heping me out, but no result yet.
We tryed manipulating things in BIOS and nothing.

ANY IDEAS ANYONE?
HELPPPPPPP ;(
Im off to college now, hope there are some replys when i get home.

NeedHELP,

Do not expect much out of a PC Chips Motherboard. There are many problems with their boards.

Good Luck,

Richard

Previous video was a built-in on-board card?

Check your motherboard BIOS for a setting that turns your on-board video off and on. If thats not present look for a setting which lets you choose from on-board or AGP or PCI. It depends on the BIOS manufacturer how thats handled

reboot. I assume you are using Windows, so you will need to still delete the old video device from device manager and reboot again. Plug and play should detect your new video card. If plug and play does not, just load the standard windows VGA driver. When thats finished, install the video card driver software from the CD provided with your new card.

Hope this helps
