Ok i have had issues from day one with my system.

Firstly after installing the correct drivers from the offical MSI page for my mobo (here), i soon ran into USB device spamm error popups all the time, I posted in this tread about it where a user was asking for help for simlar issues, I made a youtube video about the issue (see below). I soon found out that on the webpage there was NO asmedia usb controller drivers so i checked my install disk that came with my motherboard the offical MSI disk and there is also no asmedia drivers there.  I managed to install some asmedia drivers from there webpage that was talked about in the thred here,

After a clean reboot with the "fix" drivers i thought everything was fine. But alas! over the last few weeks i have been getting crazy random issues with my pc, Firstly i get audio crackle (using the onbaord audio atm) when i scroll wheel or my computer is doign demanding tasks and i try to navigate my pc. Secondly occsionally I get HUGE mouse lag on desktop to the point of a second or so delay on my curser movements, while this is happening the audio will crack and crackle like crazy and and video i am watching pixelates into giant black squares. On top of this i get random BSOD crashes i have put the bsod dump screenshot below!

So a quick summary, NO offical asmedia drivers for my mobo random BSOD caused by usb error and crazy video/audio lag randomly.

What USB device you connected in the video when there shows Unknown USB device in the device manager?
Try another USB device to check if this issue happens on all your USB devices or not.

Non nothing thats the point the system did that with NOTHING connected to the usb ports.

Anyway i found that i have HUGE DPC latency issues, it has to be caused by these USB drivers or something ?

Ive uplaoded an image of my DPC latency for the drivers i hope this picture helps!! :(

Regarding to Asmedia USB3.0 driver, there's a newer version V1.16.33.1:  https://www.asus.com/support/Download/1/42/3/1/WodJPah7ECKFSsxv/45/
May I ask what USB mouse are you using, seems that there's a similar issue caused by steelseries mouse solved by steelseries firmware update: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-10-a/19790-hi-dpc-latency-nvlddmkm-sys-dxgkrnl-sys-usb-port-disconnecting.html

Again these issues happen with NOTHING plugged into the usb ports, i actualy upgraded my mouse 2 days ago to a Logitech g402.

I just tried installing those new drivers to no improvement. Also running everything at stock speeds (forgot to add that )

Try the video shows, get into device manager and update every USB device by picking from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Or second solution, get into power option and disable "on battery" and "plugged in" option in USB selective suspend setting.

I think the CPU Drivers on your system are not right installed. You need to set up the CPU INF Driver properly for Intel because on Intel Systems the CPU uses also programms from the USB and also manages it.

I also got the same Mobo in my new Computer and have 0 Errors with USB.

Head to the Mobo Download Site X99A GAMING PRO CARBON and redownload the Intel Drivers and reinstall them.

Also Upgrade your BIOS to version 1.1, because this built has a lot of fixes.

I think that on the new 2011 drivers the USB drivers are included and managet on the Intel CPU drivers.

I just wanted to say I've the exact same issues.

- I have installed all drivers available on the MSI support site.
- I have updated the BIOS to v1.1.
- I have not attached any devices to any of the USB3 ports either.

The only workaround that works for me, is to use the group policy editor to prevent the device to be installed (and to disable it).

I'm really hoping for some actual fix from ASMEDIA, MSI or even Microsoft some time soon. :undecided:

Thats just it, i have tried every solution now im getting high dpc latency and random BSOD with usb error, ive formatted multiple times tried alot of diffrent drivers/solutions no one in this thread has yet to mention something i have not tried. This is a software issue cuased by poor driver support from MSI you are the 5th person ive come across that has posted about this issue aswell! There is allready two other threds on this forum about this, and various other posts on other webites! all the with same issues.

Going to do a support ticket ect about this, but i feel if i went to windows 7 everything would work fine.. I check the MSI page for windows 7 drivers and there seems to be loads of diffrent drivers for all the usb controllers and chipsets!

Ok after contacting support they informed me that the DVD that came with the motherboard does have all the correct drivers, that the auto installer does not install them and that i would have to seach each folder for the correct drivers for my system ><. So thats what i did tonight i installed what i think is the right drivers for the board and ill let you know how my system responds to this!! Hopefully it is fixed now!!!

Wait, so there are more drivers on the DVD that came with the board than are available for download from the official MSI support website? And ontop of that those extra drivers are not automatically installed by the setup? That's so odd! Can you maybe recall which one exactly you installed? I guess I'll go shop for some optical drive today... (the last time I built a system that featured an internal optical drive was almost ten years ago)

hmm sounds strange they wouldn't put these drivers on the website?? I have a feeling this is more a Bios problem than a driver issue. It just feels like it keeps selectively suspending power to the usb ports (no disconnecting sound is ever played). I haven't ever had it while I was gaming but I also work from my desktop and I have stages where the keyboard freezes mid typing and just keeps typing the same letter... Most of the time it recovers within a few seconds, otherwise it just have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. I have tested my mouse and keyboard with other W10 systems no issues at all and also tried brand new mice and keyboards with this system and same issue.

Please FIX THIS msi before I just have to RMA this board and go with a competitor...

Im in the same boat who uses an optical drive anymore? My case dosent even have a slot for one, ive had to use a laptop and make a disk image. This is terrible!

Anyways i installed, from the OtherDriver folder, asmedia usb 3.0 driver, intel ME driver and the VIA USB3.0 driver. From the Storage folder Asmedia drivers and intel drivers.  My problems seem to have fixed themselfs. But then again i cannot tell without a few weeks for testing.

At the moment im running my 6800k at 4.2ghz with no BSOD or audio crackle and no USB error for a whole day now! I hope this is fixed, i am still worried about my DPC latency being higher than it should.

Anyways good luck to you all!

Also a clean install of windows 10 with these drivers to remove any "inproper" windows 10 drivers seems to be a good path!
