just got the gl75 9sdk and at 1st by being use to stream labs obs i tried streaming and recording with stream labs obs but i found out how trash that software is basically i have  a core i7 9th gen and a 1660 ti with turing architechture technology with coooler boost technology so whats the deal stream labs obs is either anti msi or either anti laptop so after trying differnt settings found out all that research for 2 days around 48 hours was all thrown out once i knew that a core i7 9th gen and a 1660 ti should perform way better then this so what i found out was a company called xsplit by the way im talking about recording and streaming on the laptop so basically after deleting streamlabs obs and downloading xsplit game caster i found out the reason streamlabs obs is trash xsplitgamecaster has the 2nd gen encoder software technology that is compatible with the current technology 1650 1660 ti and rtx lines and after that it was game over what was happening on stream labs obs before i would stream at 4k bit rate a 720p even though i put the out put to 1080p max quality 60fps  but with xsplit it actuallly streams 1080p 60 fps the one i actualy chose not what ever streamlabs wants when u choose a certain resolution to stream the fact i wana give  is that xsplit game caster uses minimum drop in performance when streaming 1080p 60 fps in streaming so your ingame settings are guna be ultra at 80 to 144 fps ok for recording your guna get 60 to 80 fps recording at 4k uhd upscaling at 60 fps on xsplit game caster so why would u ever settile for nothing less actualy your ingame resolution is guna be 1080p your ingame settings are guna be 144hz monitor and ultra max setttings then your guna record your ingame footage to uhd 4k upscale 60 fps its hard to explain how many days i messed with stream labs obs made me think of lowering my settings things like that when all it was was matching software to your technology  again

simplified : stream labs face book streaming  lowest settings everything off 4k bit rate low latency trash not even max quality now the right software xsplit game caster 1080p 60 fps 4k bit rate ultra max settings 144 monitor vsync on fps cap
xsplit gamecaster recording : 4k upscale ultra hd 60 fps recording settings >> actual frames  55 to 86 fps ingame resolution 1080p ultra max settings ingame

basicallly you really really need to delete streamlabs obs its made for desktops youll recieve 49 dropped frames streaming also putting your ingame settings at trash low settings frames that are not 144 to 80 high frames streamlabs is trash get xsplit game caster ur guna game at max ultra settings record at 4k 60 fps ingame resolution at 1080p when your ingame resolution is 1080p and your recording at 4k 60fps thats just your settings for recording your ingame settings is utlra max settings with above frrames of the recording setttings talking about if you record for a youtube upload like 4k 60fps your actual fps is guna be 66 to 89 fps

update
please check the bold texts for both software if you don't want to read the whole thing

the laptop is in the description and I was talking whats the word I'm looking for basically I talked  down on software called streamlabs obs vs xsplit, in short, this is what happens

x split game caster streaming to twitch won't disconnect you but it disconnects data like a feed of your viewers as well as chat all real-time information in the game overlay so I tested this on a desktop " xsplit game caster" the same thing happened so I found out it has nothing to do with x split game caster the problem with this software is that if you google disconnections it's related to twitch and not the software it's self like if you go to the twitch channel it even has an option to reconnect or something like that so it is a known problem you will keep streaming but again your real-time info will stop in the in-game overlay. this game caster xsplit software is designed for 3 things to facebook streaming  youtube streaming without streaming disconnections for 1080p 60fps  and recording at high bit rate 4k 60 fps output file while your in-game resolution is 1080p at 144z or fps ingame

now stream labs I feel so bad for talking down on this program reason why I think its way better then xsplit specifically for twitch is that you can monitor cpu usage dropped or skipped frames a lot of advance settings where xsplit is hit stream on and go where as stream labs has advance settings the problem that I ran into was my self and none of these Softwares I did not research so I apologize for giving a bad recommendation so the best research I found was this guide  to really explain your settings https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/broadcasting-guide/ directly from Nvidia it's self so after researching and inserting all the correct advance settings like what I'm trying to say is that streamlabs obs comes stock you have to put your own settings so I streamed for 24 hours then I had 0 skiped frames 0 dropped frames on this laptop my upload speed is above 134 Mbps so I streamed at 1080p 60fps for 24 hours to test it with the results that were just mentioned cpu usage never goes above 20% usage stays constalty at 5 8 or 16% the dropped frames is 0 the skipped frames is 0 take a look at this picture if you do not wish to look at the Nvidia streaming guide its in the attachments [attachthumb=1] so basically the guide also tells you hints like for streaming since its a guide specifically for streaming according to the guide [attachthumb=2][attachthumb=3][attachthumb=4] so according to these settings the rest is easy 1080p ingame resolution output 1080p 60fps if you look at these images they tell you exactly what to do like I'm so sorry for talking down and not doing my own research but anyways so stock settings vs advance settings so what I changed was  key interval to 2 what it recommends look ahead and visual psyco to check marked  and max b frames to 4 that's what it recommends and after that I believe even after 24 hours with a green bar 100% uptime on a 24 hour stream 0 skipped or dropped frames low cpu usage highest 16 or 8% I believe that's how streamers that have there's streams on for years 24 hours around the clock streaming on youtube the same thing can happen on this laptop now that I read instead of using a plug and play xsplit gamecaster the only bad thing about stream labs obs is that if you want to record in 4k you have to change your resolution to 4k but that's another story so use xsplit gamecaster for recording 4k 60fps output with ingame resolution at 1080p to your hard drive but like yea tripple a games even on ultra battlefield v with out ray tracing but direct x12 streaming to twitch had still 0 skipped or dropped frames using the guide for streamlabs obs  so here's the guide again for Nvidia https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/broadcasting-guide/ now this is a must read if you don't want to take recommendations from youtube and want the direct information from Nvidia him self

paid back in full or i mean double

this laptop is the best one i ever owned its freaking crazy primarily for youtube i always put down my msi laptop specs in all my youtube videos what people do that dont have my laptop is record in 1080p then render it at 4k in sony vegas or premier pro wich im not hating but so if you play modern warfare on ultra max settings you will get 80 fps right? so if you use gamecaster by xsplit youll automatically record locally 4k and the results are phenominal stay around 68 to 61 fps  every single game except 1 witch is battlefield v but for rocket league pubg and modern warfare world of warcraft etc so basically you dont have to  do anything you just record 4k and upload i went from 200 subscribers to 853 in just 1 week so lets talk about how msi helped me with my youtube lets just say the laptop did everything for me then i appreciate it so i think my internet is good to upload 100gigs per day wich is around 26 videos in 4k that is just AWSOME this guy made a video sayinng he got paid $2,2000 for 100k views on youtube so i got 104k views per month then if i unlock the youtube partner im guna buy hella  msi products laptops monitors pcs mice keyboards etc 10 stars on msi gaming laptops
