GC30 on Macbook (Steam)

Hello everyone, I purchased a GC30 controller and I have a macbook.

The controller is seen correctly by this site https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad and I also tried to play some games on itch and it works correctly (at least when I use the cable).

My problem is that I can't get it to work on Steam either directly using the Mac or using the GeForce Now service.

Do you have any ideas how I can fix it?

are you able to get the controller recognized and work in Steam through either wired or wireless mode?
also, what MacBook model are you using?

No, I'm not able. I tried to change the Controller settings inside Steam with no luck.
For example if I go in Big Picture Mode inside steam I can not move around with the controller (if I do the same on a Windows PC I can)

My macbook specs are in the attachment.
