Hello everyone,
I'm facing a very strange issue since last week on my MSI GE66 Raider 10SF. I've been using it for 6 months without any issues, and now my wifi connection when using 5ghz is very slow, only when the laptop is plugged in.
It only appears in games, or when sharing my screen on Discord, I think my upload speed is the problem. As soon as I unplug the computer, my ping drops from 3000 to 30.
To summarize, in games :
- Using Wifi 5Ghz, laptop not charging : OK
- Using Wifi 5Ghz, laptop charging : Ping 3000
- Using Wifi 2,4Ghz : OK
- Using Ethernet : OK

I already tried :
- Install all the latest drivers for my Wifi card
- Update windows to the latest release
- Completely reinstall Windows 10
- Removing the battery from the laptop
- I have also changed the Wifi card inside the computer, from the original Killer wifi card to an Intel one (all drivers up to date, same issue)

I'm running out of ideas and feel a little hopeless with this, If you do have anything in mind, don't hesitate to let me know !

Thank you very much in advance,
Regards

Any idea if your AP/Router SSID for 2.4 and 5Ghz are using the same SSID? I got a new ISP router that does this and it is the only reason I could think of. Will try using another AP soon.
