ge66 raider 11UG keyboard and thunderbolt connection

Hi all - I have just acquired a used GE66 Raider 11UG and I have two issues:

1 - the Q and R keys on the laptop keyboard aren't working - I have removed the keycap and mechanism to expose the rubber dome but cant identify the fault - any ideas please?
2 - Machine came without and SSD - I have now installed and have set up windows 11 and Nvidia and MSI applications including all drivers etc and Microsoft Thunderbolt control centre but cant get to work - again any suggestions please?

For question 1, have you tried EC reset?
For question 2, is the Microsoft Thunderbolt control center not working or it cannot be installed?

Hey - sorry for delayed response -

Q1 - what is an EC reset please?
Q2 - The Microsoft Thunderbolt app seems to be working but nothing (from what I can tell) out of the TB port. I have a Kingston docking station that I use for work - nothing happens when I connect this up to the MSA Raider - I was wondering whether the power output of the Kingston unit was sufficient?

Q1, refer to the manual.

Q2, refer to the spec, the thunderbolt port doesn't support power delivery function, so you cannot use the docking station to charge the laptop.
