Does anybody know any incompatibility report between the MS-8850 and Intel D850MD motherboard? The video card is ok( I tested it with a ECS P4IBMS motherboard) and the motherboard too but when I put the video card on the motherboard the video card cooler doesn't even start. The MSI GeForce 4 MX-420 and MX-440 didn't work either. When I put on a ASUS GeForce 2 MX-200 everything goes fine. I have a P4 1,5Ghz with 256MB RDRAM PC800. The PSU is a DPS-300GB. Please help me

well goggle found me thislink

and reading that im sure the board can run it

so i think its your psu can you give the full name amps at various voltages etc written on it

when you said gb i assume you mean watts?

No DPS300Gb is the model of the PSU. It's 300w. I think you didn't understand. My problem is the MSI-8850 on Intel D850MD. Like I said the video card worked well on ECS P4IBMS.

I think you should talk to Intel about this.
As the card works, but the MoBo doesn't work on a number of cards it sounds like a bios thing.

My MoBo have released a new Bios that allows Gf4's to run properly, so it may be the same with Intel boards.

Have you tried with lower Bios settings??
