Hi,

I've got a new gforce3 ti200, happy with it. it in the control panel however, the agp options are not selectable, and when I ran 3dbenchmark it said the agp mode was n/a.

I think this means it's running in pci emulation mode, why would this be?

I've got an asus a7a266 motherboard, which should be up to the task.

any help appreciated.

Follow this step :

1. Install ALi chipset driver from your mobo vendor.
2. When installing that driver don't pick up mode compability. Cause they will bring you to PCI mode.
3. Download new driver from Nvidia or from your vendor. And install it.
4. Download RivaTuner (www.guru3d.com). And point to Power User, expand "system line" and pick "EnableALiAGP".

Hope this work for you... :]

Ah,

so i ran the rivatuner thing, and it seems to say my card is running at 4x agp, which would be good. I'm seeing this in the graphics subsystem report.

Perhaps 3dmark 2001 is lying to me?

hmmm, also, i ddidn't see the setting you mentioned for agp status. "expand "system line" and pick "EnableALiAGP"."
