Hello MSI experts
I really need your help about some questions that seems easy but they're kinda complicated for me so I'd love if you help me to find the answers
so I have an old Pc with MSI H55-GD65 … Core i5-760 … 8GB DDR3 RAM(4x2) … Nvidia GT 710
anyway my questions are:
-I want to upgrade the RAM to 16 Gb as long as its the max size for the board and i want to know if should i buy another two 4GB pieces and put them in the empty 2 slots or can I buy two 8Gb and replace the old ones?
-in the board manual says that it only supports 1066/1333Mhz so should I buy 1333Mhz because1600Mhz is not supported?
and my last question is in CPU-Z app it says that the max Graphic Link width is X8 although the motherboard has two PCI-E 2.0 X16 slots! is it because of the GPU or the motherboard itself ?

that's all what i have now lol and i wish i can find answers to all my questions
and THANK YOU

Main Memory

• Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 1066/1333/1600*/2000*/2133* (OC) DRAM, 16GB Max the ones with a * are not Guaranteed to work as there overclocks
- Supports 1Gb/ 2Gb/ 4Gb DRAM size
- Supports Dual channel mode

you would need 4 identical Sticks of RAM

GeForce GT 710 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 interface so it is limiting the connection to x8

thank you so much I really appreciate your help
but wdym by identical Sticks? I thought that getting any DDR3 RAM 4GB 1333Mhz is enough or is there anything else I should pay attention to it?

they should all be the same Make and Model as then they Share the Same Internal Settings as each other.
