Issue: An NVIDIA graphics card was not detected in your system.

I tried literally everything to fix the issue but nothing works, This being the gaming laptop, without Graphic card detection i cannot even play a game or do major tasks.
I see there are lot many similar issue faced by many MSI laptop owners without any fix.
Does anyone in this world knows the fix?

I presume you already tried disabling the dGPU in ''Device Manager'', rebooting and then enabling again?
(It might be indicated as ''Unknown device'' in a yellow triangle in ''Device Manager'')

I presume you already tried an EC RESET?

Hello,

Maybe start with some background info, was this a working laptop and over a period of time it has stopped working?
Did you notice something happen, like it crashed or one day you tried to play a game and it was not working well, like low fps?

Most common issue with some of the laptops of your generation is the GPU stops working, if the above is what happened then the GPU is likely dead.

But perhaps something else so please explain with some extra information on how you ended up here.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did try disabling/enabling the dGPU in device manager which didn't help.
Tried EC Reset, Updated BIOS etc., but nothing worked.
I have completely reset my PC, including all personal data. For now, the graphics card is showing up, but I’m unsure how long it will last. I experienced the same issue last time—initially, it appeared, but after a few days, it vanished again.
I'm not sure if a Windows update is causing the problem, so I have paused all updates to see if that helps.

Hi!, Thanks for your reply.
I usually play Assassin's Creed Odyssey on my laptop. One day, the game suddenly froze, and I had to forcefully exit it to investigate the issue. That’s when I discovered that my NVIDIA graphics card was no longer being detected. I then turned to the MSI forum and went through various troubleshooting steps, including those suggested in KB articles and community discussions, but nothing worked.
I can't recall whether I installed a Windows update before the issue began, but I did try uninstalling recent updates—unfortunately, that didn’t help.
One thing I’ve noticed is that if I leave my laptop unused for a day or two and then turn it on, the graphics card reappears. However, its functionality varies—sometimes it works the entire day, while other times it disappears within a couple of hours.
Frustrated, I decided to reset my PC. It worked for a few days, but then the same issue occurred—the GPU vanished again.

Now again I have completely reset my PC, including all personal data. For now, the graphics card is showing up, but I’m unsure how long it will last. I experienced the same issue last time—initially, it appeared, but after a few days, it vanished again.

Thanks for the info, good idea seeing if there is a software issue, should this make no difference I would say it's hardware related and on the point of failing entirely as it crashed midway through a game.

Well if after doing all that, you still have issues, then there is an extremely high chance, that your dGPU issue is hardware related.
So replacement of the dGPU is not an option, only option would be to start a research for a laptop replacement, at least if for gaming.
