Hello Everyone
I have been testing every game I can on the firs PC I have ever built, I posted some pictures of the MSI GPU on the unboxing forum.
Like I said I'm testing some games. The first game I tested was Rise of the tomb raider, if you are interested to know the performance I got with the msi gtx 1060.
please follow this link to thread I made, wich includes a youtube video of the benchmark, and of course, the results given.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=275116.msg1566592#msg1566592
I have also made a video of the performance I got playing the Battlefield 1 Beta, you can reed it here:
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=275640.msg1567756#msg1567756
So again, here are my full specs:
intel core i5 6500
nvidia gtx ms 1060 gaming (non- X Edition)
DDR4 2133 8 gb
HDD 7200 rpm Hitachi
EVGA 600W
MOBO is Gigabyte b150-hd3
The game is running on the "Overclock" preset from the msi gaming app.
I know this game is not a very demanding one, but I re-downloaded the game because I used to play it on my laptop, and I had to play it at 900p of resolution,
with medium to low settings, in order to archive the precious 60fps.
This time, the game is running at max settings, at 1080p, and I am getting more than 100fps !!
I even may be able to play this game at 1440p and still get more than 60 fps, I haven't tested that yet tho.
Since there is no "benchmark mode", I played a game, made some cuts to the video, and uploaded to youtube.
The video is at 60 fps, and high quality, but keep in mind the youtube compressing.
I recorded a video with shadowplay and this is it:
https://youtu.be/wtDnBLZ9Rhk
As you can see on the video, There are no problems mantaining 100+fps, ALL the time,
The processor workload is not very heavy thankfully.
Also , as you probably figured out from the video, I am not too good with this game, or almost any first person shooter game; like I said on the battlefield 1 beta topic I made.
But this is fun, especially playing with friends (like almost eny other game LOL), and using the chat voice.
If you have any question let me know
