I have GM70 mouse, and i try to make the firmware update that was showing in dragon center. Unfortunately the download,
cannot be finished. I try a lot of times without any result. The worst think of all, is that the mouse from that time is DEAD.
It lossed it also the factory drivers&factory firmware. I cannot restore it. I try to make it updated also from MSI Gaming
Center with out any result. Any idea? Anylink to provide me download this firmware???????

Thanks!!!!

Worst part is that they are still keeping that update up and not removing it. If they know about the problem why not roll the update back and put older version up, so everybody can reinstall it? It should work like that or no?

Try to update your mouse with Gaming Center app, which can be downloaded from the Support page >Utility of GM70 here:
https://www.msi.com/Gaming-Gear/support/Clutch-GM70#down-driver&Win10 64

I remember sometimes Gaming Center can resurrect buggy gaming gear. I think it's worth a shot?
You can follow below steps:
1. Exit Dragon Center in the system tray bar.
2. Plug in GM70.
3. Open Gaming Center.
4. Update GM70.

How did you update it? Through Gaming Center or Dragon Center and which version?
Have you tried to hold the Left+Mid+Right mouse buttons and then plug your mouse in for around 5 seconds to reset your mouse?

Hello, my mouse is dead after installing either new msi center or dragon center, firmware update via gaming center doesn't end. WIndows shows driver error. How did you solve your mouse issue? 2 years without any problems and now I can't use it.

Gaming Center each time freezes when I choose to update my mouse. Once I did to manage to choose RESET button at gaming center but again it didn't fix anything.

I've got exactly the same issue, after the dragon center asked me to update my GM70 it was dead and nothing from the above was solving the issue - nothing was able to finalize the update. Also the MSI-support was not helpful - just recommend to use cable instead of the radio version - which is anyway pretty obviously.
In the end I've tried my old windows 7 laptop with just the Gaming Center installed. After plugging in the dead mouse Win7 installed 4 generic drivers "USB input device" wich took quite long - about 5 min. After Win7 finished I started the Gaming Center and this time it was able to finish the update after round about 5 min. So I guess the Win10 USB-communication to the GM70 is buggy...
If you have an old Win7 system give it a try - it solved the issue for me :-)

So even using Gaming Center to update firmware cannot revive the mouse?
Can it be detected but not respond to any input? If it can be detected, can you check the current FW version of your mouse in Dragon Center/Gaming Center?
