I repasted my CPU/GPU with PTM7950, ran a benchmark and my GPU was not happy.
Opened everything up again and the PTM7950 wasn't even touching the GPU.
The TIM was 0.25mm in thickness, so this is clearly too thin for the GPU side.
I've used normal thermal paste now, but the temps are still a tad high.
Shouldn't the heatsink be making contact with the GPU when screwed down?
What should someone do in this situation? How can I raise the GPU up for more contact? The CPU side is fine.
