Graphics card problem?

Hi, i have a P67-GD65 motherboard, recently i had to travel and i took my video card with me in my bag... today i returned home and tried to connect the card (ATI HD4870) to the pc and start and the desktop simply restarts after a 1.5 second.... in a loop.

Well my question is if i can start the desktop without the video card and it wont restart because the motherboard itself dont support no video card?.... because if i remove the card the pc restarts anyway just like if i had it inserted.

Edit: Not sure what version of the motherboard is but it is one of the old ones with that SATA problem, dunno if makes any difference.

Well, just tested the PSU and the Graphics card in another computer and they work perfectly.

CPU/MOBO/RAM can be the faulty ones, everything was working fine, when today i inserted the card it first booted but then it started with this problem...

i have 2 RAM sticks, tried the two in different positions and working alone in different slots too, not working although.

Didnt removed yet the CPU and the cooler but i dont believe that the problem comes from that :\.

Only rests the motherboard, should i send it to RMA?

Well, i removed the cooler, and mounted again the CPU in the socket, then i attached again the cooler into the CPU.

This is the situation right now, 1 CPU power led turned on (only 1, before they 6 were turned on), the pc takes a little longer to restart again and again dont post.

De BIOS light is solid, i read in the manual that if is solid the two bios are failing >_> , i already cleaned CMOS several times by different methods (battery, button, jumper...)...

What can i do? RMA or it has solution?

Provide more information about the PC, see my signature below for kind of info to supply.

When you had the card in your bag did you just dump it in there or did you 1st put it in the plastic anti-static bag it came in?

these are my specs,

and no i did not used a anti-static bag, but it worked perfectly in an another pc just like the PSU.

Not failing, they 'have' failed. RMA the board. Recovery of the primary BIOS should have been accomplished when the LED was only blinking if it was noticed. When the replacement board is received, the cause of these BIOS failures needs to be resolved or it will just keep happening.

Hmmm, the process of returning the old B2 revision and receiveing the new B3 revision is still on... can i use this method to be faster?
